First off, NO FOUR HORSEMEN.  Let the dead rest in peace.

 

Otherwise, I'd say keep it pretty simple - have him come back a couple weeks before King of the Ring with no hoopla, win the King of the Ring and (if Austin isn't back) be Triple H's big summer feud, since they already teased the matchup near the end of 2000.  He could be bitter that everybody paid attention to Triple H's injury, but nobody gave Benoit's injury (or KOTR win) the time of day - and then he could just move to put Triple H out of the business.  No need for cruelty to animals - no need for poisonous lotion.

 

Just have Benoit trying to tear the hell out of that quad like some masochist and he'll be FINE.

Just have run out and dump Hogan onto his head 3 or 4 times with german suplexes. Eh it may not be the best idea but i'd get much enjoyment from it...i'm sure i wouldn't be alone.

Benoit should come back bitter and mean. If they even think about letting Shane O Mac come back then let him be Benoit's voicebox. That was probably Benoit's biggest success as a heel.

I'd love to see Benoit against Hogan. Of course, he'd probably have to job but it might be worth it if Hogan took 10 germans, dragon suplex and crossface.
