I just don't understand, though I'm not a fan of hers, some of her songs are pretty good and I think she is really credible and talented. I guess that the folk singer image don't sell anymore and I guess wearing skimpy clothes and dancing in the videos sell these days. Even her first single turned into your typical Britney Spears kind of music. I have not checked out her other songs but I hope she still keeps her old style of music, but I can't imagine someone in little clothes singing serious songs.

She had some great songs and now she's just another pop star with a really contrived, manufactured sounding pop song. I hope this was meant as a parody. Oh and when I try to view the video I don't get a picture...just sound.

I mean how many teenagers are going to watch "intuition" and see the message behind it? They are just going to see her in skimpy clothes, pushing her tits out of her dress, and think, oh look another pop star.

Thus, I enjoy seeing her as trashy pop, because she actually does it kinda well. Look at it this way: you want another video like "Intuition," or do you want another abysmal poetry collection? I'll take boobs and firemen any day.

I haven't brought anything else from her since. And I've always thought she was hot, weird teeth and all. Check out Ride With The Devil (with Tobey McGuire) if you don't believe me.
