Guest wildpegasus Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 Some old school matches I've been watching lately: I just got done watching Steamboat vs Savage from Maple Leaf Gardens for about the 10th time so I thought I may as well give it a thumbs up reccomendation for anyone who's not seen it. It's on the Best of the WWF Volume 9. Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan are commentating. I can't compare it to their Wrestlemania match because I haven't seen Wrestlemania III since forever but the match from the Maple Leaf Gardens definitely stands the test of time. Also Reccomended: Bulldogs vs Hart Foundation from MSG from the Best of the WWF Volume 7. I enjoyed this very much. Dynamite Kid vs Bret Hart: Not sure of the date here but I think it may be their only WWF singles meeting on tape unless there's another rare bout sneaking around. Anyway this is an awesome match. Bret Hart vs Ted Dibiase: This is from Best of the WWF Volume 19 and has Lord Alfred Hayes and Sean Mooney commentating. A very good match. Stan Hanson vs Hulk Hogan from Hulkamaia VI. This match is from the egg dome and is the best Hulk Hogan match I've ever seen.

I'm curious as to if anyone has footage of the Steamboat / Savage cage matches following WrestleMania - even if it's a fan cam. The Bret / Dynamite match was September 85 at the Capital Centre.
