Jeff G. Baileys War Games Team Promo

OK, I'll apologize for the name-calling and wishing cancer upon Hat Guy. Still have a differing opinion from you, but oh well.

If the WCW developmental guys who worked Wildside during the last days of WCW (Sean O'Haire, Shane Helms, Shannon Moore, Chuck Palumbo, Jamie Noble, etc.) don't count, then probably Ron Killings back in 1999. There have been others (the Hardys come to mind), though.

to the blatthering Russo-led blur that is NWA-TNA

I happen to like Russo, and appreciate any wrestling protion that wants to entertain me. I'll take a 10 minute Shane Douglas promo over the Lost Boyz Spotmonkeys anyday.

NO ONE DRAWS ANYMORE. Not WWE, not TNA, not ROH, nobody. Well, CZW does, to an extent

I'm laughing too hard to point out the glaring contradiction here. I take it your'e not a CZW fan.

One last thing: if you're going to crap on Wildside just because a fan of the product decided that he thought you were pathetic and worthless, then Wildside doesn't need you as a fan

I never said i was a fan

One Last thing. When "Iceberg" debuted in ROH, the real No.1 alternative to the WWE,didnt he get laughed out of the building, and get the dreaded "dont come back" chant.

Because Iceberg's style clashes with what fans in Philly want to see...

Remember, just because they're the loudest, doesn't mean fuck all...

If Amazing Red, Ruckus, and many of the "ROH" style workers came to the Canadian East Coast, they'd probably get dead silence, because Fans in Eastern Canada are adapted to slower, old-school wrestling...

Doesn't make them bad workers because of it, just means that the style that Iceberg provides, isn't the style that apleases philly fans...

I won't get into my rant about many philly (Philly-Style) workers, because it's a rant I don't have time to give right now...

While I can see your point, (I'm not really a fan of Red myself), if you watch current ROH, then you can see that guys like Matt Stryker, Chad Collyer and Tom Carter are singlehandely getting a mat-based technique over

I Apologize with the ROH type comment, they do have some great technicians, some of the best in North America, it'd be more of a Ex-CZW/Current CZW crew, like, the suicidal, neo-lucha style from philly...

However, again, in the maritimes, it's almost like they're in 1987, because until 2 years ago, it was rare to see a Crusierweight (200 >)

I understand you don't like NWA Wildside, but there is a market for it, and from what I hear, an excellent market for it. You don't like it for whatever reasons, which is understandable. I'm not th biggest ROH fan in the universe... it comes with being a fan... What in particular is it, that you don't like with Wildside, is it just the Anti-Fed commentary?

Its more to do with the fact that while ROH and CZW, which are an alternative in what they present, compared to the WWE and NWA TNA, Wildside , to me, comes off as third rate

I've been to several Wildside shows, usually driving some worker or another down there from Nashville, and I will say that NWA Wildside is the single most professionally run independent wrestling company I have ever seen, and I've worked for half a dozen of them up here in TN. Simply treating wrestling like a real business gets them many points in my eyes.

Yes, sometimes the booking could be better, but they've gotta deal with the usual indy circuit bullshit of wrestlers constantly no-showing, retiring, making commitments to other companies, so forth and so on, all of which can't be protected against unless you have written contracts and big money. Not to mention guys getting hurt; I'm sure Rick Michaels's career-ending injuries completely derailed the booking of the entire company, as he was the top babyface at the time. (And 1inch, calling him a "cripple" was pretty damn low.)

So calm down guys, and discuss the product in a rational manner. I will say that, from what I've seen, ROH does tend to put on a better show from a workrate perspective, but then again they spend a LOT more money to bring top guys in from all over the country and make every card into an Indy Dream Match affair. Having said that though, the vast majority of the Wildside roster bust their ass too in order to give the fans the best they can.

As for TNA "trying to entertain you," TNA doesn't try to entertain anyone. All TNA is is a group of 30-somethings who realize that they won't ever be making good money up North again, so they have to get out all their frustrations while the 4 people that actually watch TNA give a flying fuck about them.

All was fine and dandy until you said this. Let me show you something...

AJ Styles

Low Ki

Red

Chris Sabin

Frankie Kazarian

Chris Harris

James Storm

Elix Skipper

Alexis Laree

CM Punk

Julio Dinero

Sonny Siaki

Jason Cross

Justin Credible

Ron Killings

Shark Boy

Tracy

Veronica

Thats half of the roster. Then there is the 600-1200 people who watch in the arena, thats more than 4 buddy. And Raven has been commented on saying he makes way more in TNA and working other indys than he ever did the WWE. So, what were you saying about not making good money anymore.

I'm showing you that the people you listed aren't going to make TNA any better for various reasons listed. He was bitching about TNA, you tried to defend it and I was showing you where your defence is wrong.

And Credible is over 30.

I thought Credible was 29 or 30.

And I didn't say that they would make TNA any better, but the roster isn't full of "rejects" or whatever the idiots who has seen 2 shows or none for that matter, and think they have the right to actually judge the show based on the opinion of someone else or the 2 horrible shows they saw.

Julio, Killings and Credible are all people I would consider rejects- in the sense that no other fed really wanted them (WWE) so they had to go to TNA

Gotta get back into this thread

I like Julio, and think he deserves a shot

He wrestled the Heroes of Wrestling Show and survived, give him a shot

That said, his Julio De Niro moviestar gimmick in my EWR game isnt working
