Guest J0bber Report post Posted July 8, 2003 Hey guys, I was wondering why Coliseum Video released some of the WWF In Your Houses from 1995-96 specifically to Europe, and the wrestling fans of the United States were forced to buy dull recap videos of the events like Winter Combat 1996. In Your House 2, 4, 5, 7, 10, and 12 are all very hard to find in the US. Was it because Coliseum Video was so close to going bankrupt at the time that they didn't want to waste their time releasing videos that such a small amount of people would purchase? Thanks
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 8, 2003 I have no clue why they did that. But I hate the fact that you couldn't get Mind Games in the states. And when they sold them in WWF magazine they'd be like $50. As far as the IYH tapes are the rarest I have is Rampage 97 (Badd Blood)...and why they gave most of them names other then the actual ppvs I'll never know
Guest J0bber Report post Posted July 8, 2003 I think either Rampage 1997 (Bad Blood IYH) or Survivor Series 1997 was the last Coliseum Video ever made before they went bankrupt.
Guest BAR Report post Posted July 8, 2003 It was Survivor Series. I remember it well, even though I don't have the tape. But, I do have DXIYH (The PPV after) which is not Coliseum.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted July 8, 2003 Technically, I believe Badd Blood has the later serial number despite being a month before SS97. And yeah, giving the IYHs cute little names was ridiculous. I think the rarest one I have is a near-mint version of IYH: Final Four, which ironically was just titles IYH97: Final Four. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted July 8, 2003 Final Four isn't that rare- I'd say GFBE and Mind Games are rarer. Then there's Cold Day in Hell and DX- which was never released in the states
Guest J0bber Report post Posted July 8, 2003 I personally have only seen two of those tapes for sale in person. They were Slamathon '96 (Buried Alive) and Wrestlefest 1997 (Revenge of the 'Taker). The rest of them are really rare and hard to find.
Guest Hass of Pain Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Coliseum stopped releasing videos for the most part when Blockbuster and other major rental chains stopped carrying them. Because the videos were like $49.95, a ridiculous price for the then mostly kid audience, rentals were a huge part of Coliseums revenue and when the floor fell out on that, I'm pretty sure the company hit the red. Guest DarkHollywood Report post Posted July 9, 2003 I didn't know Mind Games was that rare, since any rental store I go to here (FL) (that has wrestling tapes anymore) usually has that one. Of course, they no longer have anything pre 1996 so they don't get too many rentals from me. LoL
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 9, 2003 I think the very hardest one to find that was released in the US was "Good Friends Better Enemies." My pre 98 IYH masters: -IYH I -Spring Explosion 96 (IYH 6) -Wrestlefest 96 (Beware of Dog) -Slamathon 96 (Buried Alive) -Wrestlefest 97 (Revenge of The Taker) -Maximum Impact 97 (Canadian Stampede) -IYH Ground Zero -Rampage 97 (Badd Blood)
Guest jm29195 Report post Posted July 9, 2003 I've got all of them except for IYH 1, Cold Day in Hell. and DX so I'll say those are the rarest
Guest DarkHollywood Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Was IYH 1 even Released on CV? I remember 2 was, but I've never read about 1.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 9, 2003 IYH 1 is not too rare. And it is Colliseum cause I have it. Has Nash and Sid on the cover.
Guest J0bber Report post Posted July 10, 2003 I looked on the back of my Maximum Impact (Canadian Stampede IYH) video and under the copyright it says that Coliseum Video actually had a website at wwfcolvid.com but it's long gone by now. Did anyone visit the site back in 1997? I was also wondering if Ground Zero was released on Coliseum Video or WWF Home Video.
Guest BAR Report post Posted July 10, 2003 The newest video I found on their website was KotR '97 which was a good 5 months before their last video and 3 months before Ground Zero.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted July 11, 2003 I think either Rampage 1997 (Bad Blood IYH) or Survivor Series 1997 was the last Coliseum Video ever made before they went bankrupt. The final Coliseum Video was "CANADIAN STAMPEDE: IYH"
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted July 11, 2003 I always figured that Coliseum Video was just Vince's creation, like calling his company Titan Sports. Guess I figured wrong. AS far as videos I couldn't find anywhere (I've been to every video store in a 20 miles radius of my house probably) they're IYH: 2, IYH: Final Four, IYH: Cold Day in Hell, IYH: Feb '96, IYH: Mind Games, IYH: It's Time, IYH: DX, IYH: Ground Zero, and that's it although I remember having trouble finding KotR '95, boy that one was worth the effort. I used to rent the tapes and dub them, I wouldn't pay $30 for a 2-3 hour shitty PPV.

Cold Day in Hell was never released in the US to my knowledge. Mind Games is scary rare- copies for it go in the hundreds. It's Time is also rare. DX was never released. Ground Zero is not rare at all.

Survivor Series is WF 175. Badd Blood is WF
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 11, 2003 Mind Games wasn't released in the US. I think the only way to get it is to get a converted version. I think
Guest J0bber Report post Posted July 11, 2003 The only way you could get Mind Games was to order it out of WWF Magazine for $39.95 with $5 shipping. Probably wasn't worth it, no matter how good the Shawn/Mankind match was.
