Encourage your fans to chant boring, what's the worst that could happen? How many times has it been chanted during matches since they started the shit?

 

Hype up Ultimo Dragon and get everyone who's seen him wrestle all fucking hyped. Leave him off the show one week after his debut, and job him out the next week. Smart.

 

And why the fuck can't they give Eddie and Ultimo some time out there?

And that Ultimo Dragon is an idiot for not pushing for creative control, which judging from his past experience with running a wrestling promotion and all that, should have been given to him without a second thought.

Do you honestly believe the WWE cared about Ultimo enough to give him creative control? I seriously doubt they were that desperate to get him signed...what, with all the talent in guys like A-Train, Nash, Test, and of course, The Big Show.

I don't really mind too much about Ultimo losing, at least he's on the show and it's Eddy Guererro.

 

I am however, worried about Vince's state of mind... putting himself against Gowan and Stephanie against Sable is not going to get people to buy the show... surely he must realise that.

Maybe the fans chanted boring because the Kanyon match was actually...you know...boring. Boring chants weren't invented the day Austin started insulting Lance Storm you know.

 

And oh...my...god...we get Ultimo Dragon and Eddie Guerrero one on one. And people are BITCHING because Dragon lost. Seriously, he's a legend. If he can't take a loss and still be over, he doesn't belong. It's not a legitimate sport, losses don't necessarily mean 'this wrestler sucks'. A good wrestler can take a loss, and still be as over as before the match.

OMG DOUBLE STANDARDS!!! Triple H and Hogan are critisised for having creative control, but it's ok for the mark darlings to have it? I understand he's got experience in running a company, but still...

 

Before everyone moans about Sable-Steph, remember NWO 2001 where Trish and Steph actually had a good match. And this was before Trish could actually wrestle like she can today...sure, it MAY suck. It probably WILL suck. But there's always the chance of it not being too bad. Plus, it provides us with time to have a snack break during the show.

 

I don't get why Angle's rapping...but maybe he WANTS to have fun in front of the crowd, considering a few months ago he may have thought he'd never be able to again. Then again, meh, it's probably Vince's fault. Everythign else is, right?

 

McMahon-Gowen...When was the last time McMahon won a high profile match? Gowen's going over, and this amtch is Hogan's fault because he left so suddenly, and left McMahon in the lurch.

 

And MissMattitude, I have a feeling that Vengeance is Box Office. It's usually January, April, July and December's PPVs on Box Office I think.

Hey sorry Vyce and Choken, I wasn't here last night to play O'Haire defender with you guys.

 

Man o' man, this show BLOWS now. Hard to believe that nearly a year ago Smackdown was putting on great matches and getting rave reviews. Now it's the "Non-wrestlers and bad wrestlers" show.

 

One thing about the Vince/Gowan match: when the plan was for Mr. America vs. Vince, it was to be mask vs. hair. What are they gonna do now, if Vince wins he gets to keep Gowan's leg?

 

Thank god for TNA and indy tapes these days.

I just want to remind everyone that Rey lost his DEBUT match in WCW and was fine.

WCW didn't spend big $$$ on hype videos 3 weeks before Rey's debut, either. WCW didn't spend weeks telling fans how great Rey was before his debut.

 

Gowan got boo'd? Canadian crowds rule.

 

They decide to give Knoble a storyline, and he ends up jobbing to Billy Gunn, and then getting DDT'd by *Torrie* post-match?

 

So far, Orlando Jordan has beaten Moore, Knoble, and Kanyon (all WCW buy-out guys), and lost to Crash (WTF?), Cena, and A-Train (all WWE guys). Coincidence? Hmmm...

 

Vince/Zach *and* Steph/Sable matches at the PPV? Yeah, it's not like there's a ton of talent sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Raw PPV's may need filler crap, but SD PPV's don't.

 

SD looks to have some good matches, but the booking decisions definitely leave something to be desired.

You can't say that about TNA, because for all the bad (New Jack, Sandman, Russo all over the place) you still get Daniels, Skipper, Styles, D Lo pushed as VIABLE ENTITIES on that program.

While I agree that he deserves better than being an out-and-out jobber, I really don't think he's as great as a lot of people here seem to think that he is.

Kanyon's good enough with his innovative moves and goofy charisma to be a mid-upper mid character, IMO. I couldn't see him main eventing a PPV though.

Kanyon has good matches pretty much everytime he goes out there, even though his quality of opponent is usually not so good. To me, that's someone you should try to get on the show.
