Guest ant_7000 Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 He played well, 14 pts, 7 boards, 6 assists. He shot 5-11 from the floor and made all 4 free throws. Not bad, eventhough the he was playing against free agents and other rookies.
Guest Ripper Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Thats great and all, but you know what the greatest thing about his offseason that I have seen? When they were asking Laker players about the Kobe incident, they were interviewing some of the summer league players...and who was there? CEDRIC MUTHA FUCKIN CEBALLOS... hells yeah. I have and always will be a Cedric mark. COME HOME TO THE SUNS!!

Guest Ripper Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Yep. He was last seen playing for Miami...with a orange afro...but that is gone now.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 He played with the Globetrotters for a little while.
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 I saw the highlights of LeBron on SportsCenter. This is just summer league crap. The real deal will be in November when the regular season is on. From what I saw of him, he should be fine in the league. He has the physical talent. Probrably just needs to work on his jumper some. (actually, 90% of the league needs to work on it's jumpers)
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Who’s that white boy that dunked on his ass?
Guest Human Fly Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Who cares if it was in a summer league? The competition was sure a lot better than High School, or College for that matter.
Guest Choken One Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Ya gotta love how LeBron already owns the Mic... The guy asks about the white boy dunking on him and he goes "I just got dunked on...It's happened before...It's only two points" and when asked about his great underhand switch dunk he goes "That's god-given talent and I do thank the lord above every day for that"... This shows he knows how to work the mic...He says the right words and DOWNPLAYS anything that could make him look bad and makes him look humble as shit... Jesus..This guy is the second coming of Magic...

Jesus..This guy is the second coming of Magic... That's a good thing though - the NBA really doesn't need another star with massive "street cred".
Guest Choken One Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Also...Factor in that Carmello is a Straight Up guy... NBA could be in good shape...as long as they keep the Jailblazers in check.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 ^ and Kobe away from underaged teens. (Sorry, I couldn't help it)
