Wow, don't you think that was a bit much ? Don't get me wrong, I like Jermaine O' Neal, he is a great player and only going to get better throughout the years, but I just don't think he is worth $120 Million right now. Obviously, they think of O' Neal as their franchise player and had to give him enough to keep him happy. BUT, the Pacers could have used most of that money to work on the rest of their roster.

Of course he's not. If O'Neal is worth 17 million a year. What are KG, Duncan, and Kobe worth?

As a Pacers fan I'm glad they got Jermaine back, but even that seems a little pricey. I guess they were scared by all the San Antonio rumors and made the biggest offer they could. This kind of worries me because with all they money they have tied up with Jermaine now, what will happen when guys like Artest and Harrington's contracts run out?

That is a lot of money but if he were to bolt, then the team would be back in rebuilding mode.

As for how much Kobe is worth, just give him a couple of underaged teens and he would play for the league minimum :D

People said the same things when Kevin Garnett signed his first 100 million contract.

What about the Millers? I know Reggie will opt out for a Vetern's deal or leauge Minimum but Brad could play the field... Any east team would take him...
