Guest edotherocket Report post Posted July 10, 2003 The controversial WWE Smackdown storyline with Vince and Stephanie McMahon has actually been scripted by the McMahons themselves. The angle is that Vince would have Stephanie perform sexual favors on potential clients to “seal the deal”. One WWE source was quoted as saying “they’re very creepy people.” credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter via: 411mania ...does ANYONE find this stuff entertaining? I really hope Vengeance will be the end of all this garbage. But I find most McMahon angles tend to be REALLY long and drawn out (McMahon-Helmsley era, Stone Cold vs. Vince etc) and I'm not really getting a vibe that Vengeance will actually be the blow-off for all this crap. Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted July 10, 2003 Atleast one McMahon has been on tv at all times, since forever and I don't think it will change anytime soon. Their segments draw huge ratings. The segment with Vince/Stephanie/Gowen from the Smackdown before last gained 1 1/2 million viewers. Compare that to all other segments on the show that either lose or gain 200,000-300,000 at the most.
Guest edotherocket Report post Posted July 10, 2003 I would feel better about their drawing-power if they were actually investing all this time and energy in a wrestler with a future. Instead its put to Gowen, Hogan and Sable.

Guest Blue Bacchus Report post Posted July 10, 2003 Until someone annouces the acquisition of the WWE and all of it's holdings. Then and ONLY then will we be rid of the McMahon Menace~! Which will be never!
Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted July 10, 2003 Vince could be dead and buried, and i'm sure before his death he'd instruct his successor to keep bringing his corpse out on TV every week, even death won't keep him off TV at this rate.

At least if they wheeled his corpse out something else would stink worse than what would be going on in the ring.
