Guest Machiavelli Report post Posted July 10, 2003 When I watched married with children I never realised that Ed O'Neill was such an amazing actor, now that I am getting to see the guy play Friday on Dragnet at present I have to wonder whether the show was a success in the states and could the audience look past Al Bundy to see the amazing show that was right in here? With the movie being such a piece of Fluff (enjoyable yes but a piece of Fluff all the same) I wonder if it was terminally handicapped by the rep of both the name and previous work of the lead? Anyone got Any info? Did it get picked up for a second series?? thanks Mach

Guest Lethargic Report post Posted July 11, 2003 It has a new cast? I haven't read anything about that. All I saw was the time slot change and the name change. If they change the cast too much it's gonna ruin the show. O'Neil and Embry were great together. I loved the first season. It was such a kick ass no-nonsense show. There was no love interest, no real characters besides those two. It was great. Somebody gets killed, they solve it. That's it. It should stay that way. If they start bringing in love interests or away from the job storylines I'm gone.

It was a show that didn't give a shit about anything but finding the crooks, and didn't care who knew it.
