Guest DonWestMark03 Report post Posted July 10, 2003 I was wondering, since there is not much talk about the Super-J cup in this folder, the feedback of people's favorite Super-J cup matches.

Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted July 10, 2003 Favourite Matches 1)Wild Pegasus vs Great Sasuke 94- A great match which tributes DK vs Cobra and Tiger Mask from the past. 2)Liger vs Sasuke Jcup 94 -Great Match which has the up and comer Sasuke taking on the veteran Liger. One of personal favourites of all time and a must see match 3)Sasuke vs El Samurai 94-I loved the finish of the match. Sasuke squeaks out a victory showing how competitive the tournament really is. 4)Benoit vs Gedo 95 This has one of the best clothesine spots I've ever seen which still has me wondering how Gedo survived, a controversial 3 count, Benoit wrestling at 100mph and Gedo sneaking out an upset victory at the end. I don't think Benoit took enough punishment at the end to be pinned though which seems to be a fault in some of his matches. Still though, that makes your opponents offence look strong. 5)Ultimo vs Liger 95-I really enjoyed this as I'm a mark for La Magistral Cradle and counters of the before mentioned move. 6)Ultimo vs Otani 95-Just remembered that I really liked this 7)Pegasus vs Black Tiger 94 Very fun match which I think had Benoit attempting some kind of reverse powerbomb off the top rope back into the ring. Benoit and Eddy just execute everything so flawlessly which is just a fantastic treat to see.

Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted July 11, 2003 1994: Lyger vs Sasuke 1995: Ohtani vs Mochizuki 2000: Teioh vs Usuda (the match that got me hooked on BattlArts)
Guest Pegasus Kid Report post Posted July 11, 2003 Well aside from the obvious stuff that everyone will yap about: - Ohtani vs Delphin (1st Stage, 1st Round): probably the best dismantling of a limb I've ever seen (for the time allotted at least) - Pegasus vs Gedo (2nd Stage - Semi Finals): One of those matches that lets you see how great Benoit was. Absolutely murdering Gedo. - Teioh vs Usuda (3rd Stage - 1st Round): This was easily the sleeper match of the tournament. I certainly didn't expect such a great match out of Teioh. I should re-watch this. I haven't watched since my review.

Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 The only real "puro" show I have in it's enterity is Super J Cup 1994. While all the matches are very good wrestling, it does get quite boring and hard to watch all in one sitting. But I'd say Benoit/Sasuake ranks up there with one of the better matches from that tourney. Oh, and Benoit/Jericho is pretty good in 1995.
