The ability to shoot from within a car seems pointless to me. The department will be paying millions in health care to all the officers with hearing problems after firing a gun inside a small enclosed area.

 

Just buy bullet proof glass. Either the perps will shoot once before running or the perps will empty their gun. Either way you're protected and can then return fire when the perp takes off running or is out of ammo.
