I'm stuck on Splinter Cell for XBox.

I think it's level 2, (it says it on the pause menu) but I'm basically at the part were I'm in the Minstry of Defense and I'm on the balcony. These two soliders are talking about how they need to do something with a retinal scanner, but they can't and one of the guys doesn't like the general. My mission right now is Inflitrate the South Wing. I can try to scale across the gutter, but everytime I do it the alarm goes off. I'm pretty much stuck.

Help is appreciated.

From GameFaq's.com.

"Now you should see a cook open his window. Sneak out to the balcony,

facing the courtyard and turn left. Jump up on the balcony, and face

the wall. Jump up again for Sam to grab the gutter pipe. Climb all the

way to the cook's window. Once you're over the window, press Y to let

go and land on the table."

Problem is, everytime I touch the gutter, the alarm goes off.

It says if I want to deactive the alarms on the Courtyard, go to the South Wing Main Hall....No idea where that is.

Figured it out. I had to go re-do the level because I accidently forgot to get one of the data sticks.

Wait until the next fucking level, it's death.

You'd think taking out a couple of guards in a dark corridor would be easy, right? Think again, good luck.

That game is so fucking awesome, but so amazingly difficult at the same time.

Argh!

Lol.....the 2nd level is nothing compared to the FBI or Chinese Embassy.

In the first you can't kill anyone, in the second you can't kill anyone OR set off any alarms, or you fail.

And don't even get me started on the SUPREME difficulty of the last level.

Agreed.

However, I find this game different. Usually, say on Smackdown, if I'm beaten by the computer I throw my world famous hissy fit, accompanied by throwing the control down and screaming an obscenity at the top of my lungs.

With this game however, I'll fail but just want to keep on trying. Usually, if i walk away out of frustration, I'm back in there trying again within 5 minutes.

The game is fuckin' unreal.

Took me about a week to figure out how to get past the first guard.

Soon enough I figured it out.

Yeah, I returned the game right at the part where I was inside making my way through cubicles or whatever it's called.

I'll rent it again....someday.

Bah man, you gotta buy that shit. Best X-Box game besides Halo. In some ways, I think its better. Definitely more challenging.
