Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Back in 1988 the WWF held "The Main Event". The main event was Hogan vs. Andre for the WWF Title. My question is, do you think the "evil twin ref" was a good or bad finish? I've heard some people say it was stupid for the WWF to do that kind of finish on primetime national TV. I thought it was great. That may have been Earl's WWF debut. When I watch that show on tape I still get a kick out of it. Back then it was hard to tell them apart. Although back then Dave was a little fatter than Earl. So what do you think? Good or bad finish?
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted March 30, 2002 KJinda dumb cause the announcing i think knew TOO MUCH of it to make it sound more legit. But it still was a good way to take the title off hogan (damn it)
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Considering Andre was a monster, he didn't need the screwyness of two friggin referees to win. If they needed to cheat, how hard would it have been for DiBiase to paste Hogan on the head with a chair or bell or whatever. I think it's one of the dumber angles to ever occur.
