Guest alfdogg Report post Posted March 30, 2002 If they do get him, put him on RAW...more competition for the NWO. I don't want to see him on Smackdown
Guest Risk Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Everyone hates Goldber, because, well, he sucks and is an asshole.

Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I don't see any reason to bring Goldberg in. You'd have another primadonna who can't wrestle on your roster. He supposedly has heat with a top guy (HHH) and doesn't love wrestling. Why would you want him back?
Guest treble charged Report post Posted March 30, 2002 If you want a reason to hate Goldberg, just watch Bret Hart's promo at the WWA PPV. Bret was never the greatest on the stick, but he could always get his point across, but him at the PPV was just sad.
Guest X-Factor Corperation Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Yes. He won't be back for years. It's a match that needs to be.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted March 30, 2002 There are too many fucking people on the roster as it is. The function of the "brand extension" was to create more opportunites for underappreciated talent to get exposure. By signing every wrestler in North America, the WWF is sort of defeating the purpose. Bringing Goldberg in would be pointless and silly.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Vince brought back the nWo. So I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to bring in Goldberg. If he did, Vince would have Austin vs. Goldberg, then job him to HHH.
Guest Risk Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I'm guessing Milesberg and the guy who started this post voted for Greenberg to come back. I would rather have Gillberg than Goldberg, and Gillberg sucks.
Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Personally, I don't think that I would, but knowing Vince, he'll come a knockin' once Goldberg's contract with AOL/TW is up. I really resent him for what he did to Bret Hart. Dames - Took the Buyout
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Goldberg makes the Big Show look like a legendary technician. He sucks and has no place in wrestling anymore. He never did, actually. What's the whole Bret Hart/Goldberg story? I don't know much about it. Where does everyone get those wrestler icon images? I like Kamala.
Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 The whole Goldberg/Bret Hart situation can be summed up pretty quickly. The event was Starcade'99 and the main was Bret v Goldberg for Bret's world title. During the match, Bret comes off the ropes and Goldberg turns his head and gives him a superkick to the side of the head....extremely stiff. He wasn't even looking. It gave Bret a concussion that was so severe, he had to vacate the world title and take time off. He made brief appearances maybe once every 2 or 3 months after that, in a non-wrestling capacity. He then cut a scripted promo on Goldberg blaming him for his concussion and about the fact that he now has legit 10% Brain Damage from it. Goldberg's basic comeback was that he was just doing his job and that he feels sorry for it, but he should just accept it. Pretty dumb if you ask me. Anyway, Bret was forced to retire a month later and was working with the WWA. His promo's have become pretty incoherent as you can see the extent of the brain damage. Its pretty sad that one of the greatest exited in such a poor manner. Dames - Has 90% Brain Damage
Guest BA_Baracus Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Nah... ...Goldberg sucked. Brock Lesnar will do nicely.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted March 30, 2002 No. Not because he almost kicked Bret's head off of his shoulders. And not because he wouldn't work a program with Jericho. And not because he was at the head of one of the most fabricated pushes in wrestling history. And not because Schiavone kept shilling him as "our hero". It's because he lost to Lex Luger - and THAT is a true embarrassment to our sport.
Guest Nater Report post Posted March 30, 2002 One reason to love Nash: He put an end to Goldberg. The streak was all he had, even Russo; the master of lame gimmicks and a fountain of twisty/horrid ideas could only come up with "lets do the streak again". If Goldberg DOES come back, then he should be buried and tossed to the Broklyn Brawler squad ASAP. Either that or pit him vs. all the people he had to walk on in WCW to get his name. Vince says "Guys, stiff it up".
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted March 30, 2002 That or just hotshot him as the main event vs. Austin. I mean, that's the only match I think that people would really care about anyway, so just let Austin totally make a fool out of him for twenty minutes so that people get their "dream match" on Raw/Smackdown, pay him a nice one-night check and tell him to move on out 'the wrestling business - "don't let the door hit ya...where the good lord split ya" - and then just MOVE ON. Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I agree, I'd say they could put it on a ppv... would boost the buy rate a little I'd think, might be mildly entertaining.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Nope. We have enough guys from the past already. The second streak he had to do to "save his career" in WCW was one of the worst ideas ever. I mean, he had to get to 180 - 0 or something, it would have taken about 2 years.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 There are some big potential angles that could take place if Goldberg was to sign with the WWF but right now his services aren't really needed. Lesner is being built up as a monster similat to Goldberg and the main even situation in the WWF if pretty crowded all ready. HHH, Rock, Austin, Jericho, Hall, Hogan, Nash, Rhyno, Booker T, Big Show, RVD, Undertaker, Kane, Benoit, and Angle are all potential champions IMO, even though some of them don't stand a chance. Goldberg isn't needed with that list of talent all ready on the roster.
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 With an already rough moral problem the last thing Vince needs is another performer with a huge ego. Goldberg will only draw if pushed as a monster and can you imagine the backlash from an already perturbed crew. If I were Vince I would worry about creating creative storylines that enhance the talents strengths and cover their weaknesses. If Vince can get me to care about the mid-card again then the he doesn't need to worry about the potential headache of bringing someone in who I don't feel really loves the business. Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 30, 2002 His time is past. He'd probably demand huge money. They'd have to build him which means more people being depushed that don't deserve it. He has heat with HHH and Regal possibly the NWO and maybe some others in what is already reportedly a bad locker room. He isn't that good in the ring. The only big money program waiting for him is against Austin.
