Suddenly, I want the Jazz to win the championship

I can't explain why, but I just had a revelation: The Utah Jazz is my new favorite basketball team, and I hope they go all the way. This baffles me. With Stockton and Malone gone, they've got to rebuild or make some good buys to keep up the streak of playoffs that they've had since Stockton. But with that jerk Malone over in L.A. now hoping that he'll get a championship that way, I hope the team he abandoned that could never get it done wins it all. So now I'm rooting for the franchise that gave my Bulls are run for their money two years in a row. And you should too.

 

Reasons Why The Utah Jazz Are Cool:

1. That logo they've had since 1996 is pretty cool.

2. They play in front of an arena packed with those lovable Mormons.

3. Their location abbreviation in the little score box is usually the only one with four letters: HOU, DAL, SAC, LAL, CHI, MIL, DET, and UTAH.

4. Jazz in UTAH? It's kooky!

5. Jazz is fun to listen to.

Well Andrei Kirilenko is good, and if they sign Andre Miller that would be a good move, but other than that they have got a lot of young players who will need to develop in a hurry.
