Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Should Stephanie get another chance to return to Federation programming? Yes 51.07 % No 48.92 % Total Votes: 89901 That is what it was just at. Earlier in the day it was 65% no. Hopefully she doesn't see this poll!
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Sh*t, Stephanie herself probably posted "Yes" about 43,000 times.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Steph is coming back on TV anyway. So even if that poll was at 100% no, she would still come back.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 The WWF cooked the numbers in the past 3 hours, as it was at 35% for a return when I voted.
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 At least they didn't doctor a "Should Stephanie win the triple threat match" poll in order to show all us smarts that the real fans wanted a Steph title reign.
Guest Risk Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Damnit! Why can't the McMahons stay off TV? It isn't about them.
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Okay, someone is obviously rigging this poll. Look at the results now: Should Stephanie get another chance to return to Federation programming? Yes 62.86 % No 37.13 % Total Votes: 123917 I highly doubt 40,000 people voted in the last hour and by the percentages all of them would have had to vote yes. Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I just hope that the WWF takes their polls as seriously as I do.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted March 30, 2002 You don't actually think the WWF cares about these polls do you? I'm sure they are aware (just as is every other site on the internet) that to completely ruin the validity of a poll all it takes is some little script kiddie with nothing better to do with his time. Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Why the hell did they make a poll for that anyway? They didn't have a poll about bringing the alliance back. I'm hoping that the "if you ignore them they'll go away" strategy works.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 30, 2002 *we* know polls mean nothing, but a yes vote will just give Vince self-justification to bring her back in a matter of weeks, if not day. Gah.
Guest Metallica Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Why don't they limit votes to one per visitor like most normal sites? It's crazy, you don't even have to click, you can just tick "yes" and hold enter down for as long as you like as you rack up your tally.. ???
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 30, 2002 It's probably to cover their arses when they bring her back. According to the ratings breakdown that comes out she adds viewers so there's no way they will keep her off for long. I was just happy that she didn't win the title. They know how annoying she is otherwise they wouldn't have had the leaving match. In a shareholders meeting when the stockholders were asking why the show was losing so many viewers Linda blamed the writers without mentioning that her daughter is in charge of the writers. Anyone else would be out of a job by now. Nepotism rules.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted March 30, 2002 The pole is meaningless, because even if it had never exhisted, she would still be brought back at some point. Remember the last time she was supposed to be taken off of TV? Funny how things like that tend to be enfourced for all of a month. It's the same with Vince when he was leaving to a "na na na, na na na" song. It took no time at all for him to be brought back as the central focus of the storylines again. Guest Metallica Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Yeah, "leaving the WWF forever" stips have always been a waste of time...and how did Tommy Dreamer sneak back onto the WWF roster on Raw?! Arrgghh! A little explaination like what they did with Lance Storm being employed would have been nice.
