Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted July 13, 2003 Ok, so here's the thing. Recently, my brother came home for a vacation, and in the process, he put a new hardrive on this computer. The thing is, our old hardrive is still in this computer, but I have NO idea how to access it. Does anyone have any ideas/solutions on how to get at it? Secondly, we recently got our hands on a Kodak digital camera, and we installed the software that came with it and everything, but it refuses to take any pictures off the camera and put them on the computer. Like, I can get the program up to the point that it'll show me the names of the pictures on the camera, but as soon as you try to transfer them from the camera to the PC, nothing happens for like, 10 minutes, and it gets frozen. I was going to try un-installing then re-installing the software, and then installing a controller (to make sure the problem isn't with our USB port, which is possible, because that's also new) but if that doesn't work, I = screwed. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Guest DrTom Report post Posted July 14, 2003 If the old hard drive is still connected properly, it should be accessible from Windows Explorer.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted July 14, 2003 What version of Windows? Most likely you need to go to the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools-> Computer Management and make sure that Windows can recognize the drive.
