Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Personally, I'm not exactly looking forward to this show too much. Depending on the directions that Raw and Smackdown take, we could seeing a large amount of nothing matches with no build up. It appears HHH Vs. Taker is in the bag, which can be pretty much be sumed up as a match that was mediocre at best a year ago, and now invovles an even more deteriorated Taker and a HHH who can't produce an exciting match to save his life right now. Angle/Edge is assured, which probably won't be too offensive, if not a total waste of Angle. Jericho's annual de-push continues as I'm wondering if they'll put him against RVD just to show how pissed off they are at him. Look for Austin to re-pay his job to the NWO if he ever gets back on TV, too.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I know it wont happen, but I wanted to see an Austin/X-Pac match.
Guest WWF4Life Report post Posted March 30, 2002 The scary thing is, RVD will probably defend the IC title against X-Pac. Angle-Edge should be good, and some type of gimmick match with Hogan/Rock versus The Outsiders.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Edge will beat Angle with the ankle lock in three minutes, shattering Angle's credibility for good.
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Is this a mixed roster PPV?
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Is this a mixed roster PPV? They haven't really made that clear yet, but from what I've heard, no. I should hope that it will be, though, because otherwise it looks like a Kane/NWO confrontation in some manner. I would guess that he would go against Nash or X-Pac while Austin repays the job to Hall. Hogan/Rock have no one on their roster to face off against, though. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Hogan/Rock have no one on their roster to face off against, though. KURT ANGLE, Damnit! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE! ANGLE!
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 30, 2002 Probably mixed roster; the pull apart of rosters will be slow.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I also think it will be mixed rosters. Although they might do Raw wrestlers vs. Raw wrestlers & Smackdown wrestlers vs. Smackdown wrestlers. If they did that and wanted to do Hogan/Rock vs. nWo...then they should have all four guys lobby for the match, which makes Vince & Flair agree to let them have it. Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted March 30, 2002 UT vs. HHH Winner - No one; as Stephanie blows HHH after the match, UT attaches a Saddle to Sara (and rides off into the sunset), and everyone in the arena wretches.
Guest Maurizio C... Version 2 Report post Posted March 30, 2002 God, remember when Backlash was actually the third best ppv after WM and Royal Rumble a few years ago. Plus, if Austin comes back don't count on him jobbing since it would be stupid to ask him to job after his "fuck everyone" stint.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted March 30, 2002 I think that until a match or 2 has even been announced, threads like these should stay on the shelf. Right now, all people can do is speculate, with people usually only 1/3 right.
