Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted July 15, 2003 I'd say Rickey doesn't have anything left, but it's the Dodgers so I'll make an exception.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted July 15, 2003 The Dodgers are going to need more than Rickey Henderson to jumpstart their offense. Their offense is more offensive than it is offense..

Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted July 15, 2003 I thought the guy retired, seriously. He hasn't really proven he has anything left to offer although when he actually does do something of worth on the field, his cocky ass is the first one to let you all know. Guest alkeiper Report post Posted July 15, 2003 He never retired, he just played in Newark in an indy league before the Dodgers signed him. Tore up the league too. The thing about Henderson is that he's still a GOOD player. His OBPs are consistently in the .365-.370 range (the league average is around .330), and he can still swipe a base here and there. Guest Shawn 5 Report post Posted July 15, 2003 Plus, he just won the All-Star game MVP for whatever minor league he was playing in.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 15, 2003 I hope my Grandson appreciates Rickey's Heart and Soul as he lays on his deathbed....
Guest DonWestMark03 Report post Posted July 17, 2003 Rickey Henderson is the man. He is a true ballplayer and loves the game. He also rules at stealing bases.
