Someone should ask him what it was like playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

I'd say Rickey doesn't have anything left, but it's the Dodgers so I'll make an exception.

The Dodgers are going to need more than Rickey Henderson to jumpstart their offense.

Their offense is more offensive than it is offense..

I thought the guy retired, seriously. He hasn't really proven he has anything left to offer although when he actually does do something of worth on the field, his cocky ass is the first one to let you all know.

He never retired, he just played in Newark in an indy league before the Dodgers signed him. Tore up the league too.

The thing about Henderson is that he's still a GOOD player. His OBPs are consistently in the .365-.370 range (the league average is around .330), and he can still swipe a base here and there.

Plus, he just won the All-Star game MVP for whatever minor league he was playing in.

I hope my Grandson appreciates Rickey's Heart and Soul as he lays on his deathbed....

Rickey Henderson is the man. He is a true ballplayer and loves the game. He also rules at stealing bases.
