Hmm Dreamer

Recommended Posts

Guest Trivia247

It looked to me that Dreamer wasn't happy about the petition nor was he on the Bandwagon chanting.

Could this lead to something interesting with him?

Im sure if they wanted to they could get a mic on him and he'd basically say he gotten his ass kicked before in and out of the ring in this business, and it shouldn't be Austin's fault.

and then Challenge Kane to a Cane match lol which of course he loses because he is Dreamer, the selfless victim of the business.

but this is a opportunity for him to be written in.

but that might be something a logical Wrestling organization would want to do.

Who's Tommy Dreamer?

It's funny because it's true.

We're supposed to care that Kane beat up somebody who hasn't been on Raw in months?

It'll lead to Dreamer getting pinned by someone. This is guaranteed. I'm putting my money on Rico to get the 3 count personally.

Know what I think would actually go over HUGE? Dreamer vs. HHH. Forget the fact that HHH isn't the HHH from 2000. Forget the fact that Dreamer himself, as a pure worker, was never anything too special. Dreamer can get a crowd INTO his matches. HHH beating the fuck out of Dreamer, and Dreamer never giving up once, wouldn't be too bad an angle.

Now, Dreamer should lose the blow-off, of course. I mean, it's HHH-uh, and Dreamer shouldn't be the RAW champion. But, say...have the final being some hardcore-ish match (say, Last Man Standing or something of similar/greater brutality), where Dreamer excels.

Meh...I'm a Dreamer mark...and it'll never happen...

A company Paul Heyman bankrupt. Also a federation where Justin freakin' Credible was champion.

Really, it happened!

Justin... Credible?

OH! You mean the guy from X-factor!

X-Factor? You mean the stable that had the 1-2-3 Kid, Prince Albert, and Aldo Montoya?

Then again, Credible being the ECW Champion wasn't as bad as an actor being the WCW Champion.

Dreamer should form....FBI: Raw. The FBI could be their own cute little multibrand mafia.

I'd almost like Austin to confront Tommy next week that he signed it. And Tommy gets in his face saying Austin's never given him a shot on RAW anyway so screw Austin.

Which I could see WWE doing...except that the verison I run in my head has Tommy going over HHH for the title at Summerslam...which probably isn't going to happen

Guest Smell the ratings!!!

I honestly think that Dreamer has ad-libbed every single thing he's done for like the past year, Gerwitz doesn't notice.

"Hey why isn't that guy chanting?"

"Must be a production guy. I mean, look at him."

Dreamer had that BRIEF push last year with the Jackass gimmick that only lead to a Taker Squashing...

Methinks Tommy Dreamer needs to go the way of Crash and be released already.

TNA needs you to rehash the Raven/Dreamer feud again, Tommy!

Me thinks Dreamer LIKES be happy and having a steady job and an potential road agent/writer career with WWE...

Why go back to Indy Hell and rehash that never gonna die feud that will NEVER reach the level it was in 1996.

I'm not saying that it would be good for Dreamer to be released, but his character in WWE is dead and there is no resurrection in store for him.

You can list off a thousand different things on why he could still be an effective character, but at the end of the day Vince sees him as a former ECW'er and not homegrown WWE. That is just about death when it comes to your push in WWE my friend.

Well, Tommy could probably get better money in the indies and be pretty steady. But...he seems like a guy that has plenty of friends in the back, likes doing what he's doing, and doesn't mind it. Like Spike...he enjoys "the norm."

Better Money in the indies? he isn't going get people to come see him...

His value as a draw is long gone...

Not to mention that the WWE is money in the bank. He has a paying contract

Dreamer was having some good hardcore brawls with Richards and Nowinski. They should have kept him doing that.

yeah, he had a little feud with Nowinski in the fall that was pretty entertaining and was getting TV time. He was in a few high profile matches, but then they just dropped him and he wasn't even on Heat for a while.

That's what his whole WWF/WWE stint has been. In the Invasion, it really kicked off the night he and RVD entered... and then nothing... he was on the occasional Heat or Metal match, only to job.

I am not saying Tommy Dreamer should be the champion, but I am saying the man needs at least a small push and some TV time. He's entertaining and maybe it'd be a little fresher than what we are getting now.

Maybe if the WWE didn't get rid of the Hardcore title, and let Dreamer defend ir regularly (match with Richards kicked ass), he would've gotten majorly over.

I say he'd be more interesting in TNA interacting with Sandman and Raven .

I would be up for any kind of Dreamer push, i've marked for him his entire WWE stint no matter what he was doing. I love his selling and all his hordcore stuff is entertaining so they could easily just stick him in a fued with Richards as they seem to be giving him a little mini push at the moment.

As Corey said, Dreamer has an ability to get the crowd going, still, on the rare occasions he's on television. He's never been a great worker, sure, but he's more accomplished than he ever gets credit for. I love Tommy Dreamer. If he goes out there, gets murdered by Evolution but keeps coming back for more, getting destroyed more and more each time he'll get the crowd behind him. They should feed him to Kane as well, but have him get absolutely slaughtered again and again. It would work.

I'm a Dreamer mark, so I don't want him to go to TNA (I don't order it) but I'm also enough of a realist to understand that he's not going to get a substantial push. All I'm asking for is consistent matches on TV, with him winning some and losing some. Nothing more, nothing less.

The crowd pops for the guy. I'd much rather they keep him then goddamn Rosie.
