Just Watched The 7-17 Smackdown

1. The Matt Facts are "Matt's beard is much cooler than Benoit's" and "Matt tans wearing only a sock." Matt breaks his nose during the match and starts bleeding.

 

2. Stephanie accidentally burns her hand on a lamp during a promo with Vince. She burns her hand and Vince says "You're hot?". Steph says "the lamp was hot" and then Vince goes "yeah, no shit." This probably won't be shown on tv.

 

3. John Cena's rap, which isn't as good as his others in my opinion: I've been watching you ever since you debuted as Deadman. You full of more crap than a supersize bed pan. This whole things a front man, you ain' never deceased. You'd drive from funeral to funeral just to hit on a priest. I heard rumors about you dog, you used to hit on men often. I two wayed Paul Bearer, he said you shared the same coffin. You was never dead man, the whole time you was fake. And you beaten John Cena? You gravely mistaken. See you old news dog. Fans won't even miss you. You ain't dead man. You just a dead issue. And at Vengeance I'm gonna prove the big dog is all bark. I'm gonna claim my territory and piss right on the mark.

 

4. Spanky was hilarious doing his mic work when he got the invitation to the bar room brawl.

 

5. Cena's 2nd rap of the night: Zach can't beat you, it is an impossible mission. He's just like Ted Turner man, he ain't no competition. The fact that he got a contract is completely pathetic, forget about his fake leg, his whole career is prosthetic. This kid is crazy as a circus freak, half his body is plastic, he should do both of us a favor and hop his ass into traffic. Well I guess we both got handicap matches at Vengeance it seems, I'm killing a dead man and your fighting Christopher Reeves. This kid is half ass, you better knock off his block. Hey man, what's better than a 1 legged wrestler? Being able to walk.

 

6. Crowd was totally behind Eddy. Crowd was totally dead for Gunn and even booed him a few times.

Yeah it was pretty good. The finish was cool. Matt Hardy was trying to do a side effect off the 2nd or 3rd rope and Benoit reversed it into a crossface into midair.

Matt looks crazed in those pics. Hopefully it adds a bit more drama in the match. Heard it's good.

 

Two entertaining promos from Cena has me thinking he might possibly go over Undertaker (based on how over he's getting), but this week 'Taker beats him up, next week Cena hits him with the chain before the ppv, and at Vengeance Undertaker squashes Cena with the Wedgie Ride.

 

I pray that we don't have to see an incestuous father/daughter sexual innuendo story.
