I don't know if it was mentioned somewhere within the thread about WWF figures, but I have a full collection of 12 NWA/WCW figures from 1990.  It's Sting, Lex Luger, Rick & Scott Steiner, Tom Zenk (Z-Man, Brian Pillman, Ron Simmons & Butch Reed, Sid Vicious, Ric Flair, Barry Windham, and Arn Anderson.  They didn't have any moveable parts but they were still the sh*t.  I even had a WCW carrying case that they fit in. They were like a dollar or two cheaper than the WWF ones from the same time period. Did any of you guys have them too?

Yep. I had them all. Although I lost my Ric Flair figure years ago. :( They came with the WCW belts even though they were all the same belts. I even had the WCW ring that was made for those figures that came with a red steel cage. I saw at least two different versions of Sting. It was the same mold, just different face paint and tights.

There was an El Gigante too. It was much bigger than the others which you can't say about the hasbro Andre.

Wasn't there supposed to be a second set of WCW figures released back in 1991?

I think so. I'm pretty sure they were advertised in that WCW comic book when it first came out. That comic book ruled by the way! It was the only way the return of the Black Scorpion would have worked.  :P  Anyone else collect it?

I saw the protoype of the P.N. News figure on the net somewhere. Looked just like him.

I remember the WCW comic book. I thought it to be cool. I barely remember the stories they had in it, but I found it cool.

Go to TomZenk.com,they have a whole article on the WCW Comic Book and I think it has one of the storylines involving WCW WrestleWar 1992.

Thanks.

I had heard there was supposed to be another run of the WCW figures, but they never came out...although some did in the UK I believe. I have seen Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin figures for sale on the 'net...there may have also been a Bobby Eaton figure, but I can't be sure on that one. I know there was an El Gigante one somewhere, though I've never seen it.

There were also a Dustin Rhodes and Big Josh figure released in the UK.  They occasionally pop up on Ebay.
