Guest papacita Report post Posted July 16, 2003 Ok, last Friday night, my PC crashed on me...it won't let me start up Windows, saying that "Hard Drive failure is imminent" and keeps on giving me the "non-system disk" error. Now the people I've talked to said I'll probably have to end up replacing my hard drive and that I should back up my data if I really need it (and I do), but I have no clue how to do this without getting into Windows. Can anyone help me out?
Guest MrRant Report post Posted July 16, 2003 Not fun... I would get new hard drive. Install Windows on said hard drive. Place the new hard drive as the Master and the old as the slave and then boot to Windows on the new one and hopefully you can pull your info from the old one.
