Guest ally mccoist Report post Posted July 16, 2003 The other day I found a shop selling old Powerslam magazines for quite cheap, so I decided to buy a couple. (Powerslam is a UK wrestling mag). Anyway, in the issue that came out just after the whole Montreal screwjob, and in the ECW news section I found something fairly interesting which I have typed word for word below.... On Halloween night, October 31st, on a card in Stamford, CT, several wrestlers donned the costumes that they wore under the WWF banner. Al Snow wrestled as Avatar, Justin Credible as Aldo Montoya, Chris Candido as Skip, and Shane Douglas as perhaps the biggest bomb of them all, Dean Douglas. Not surprisingly, prior to his match Douglas made a few virulent remarks at the expense of the man who devised the gimmick, Vince McMahon. I found this pretty amusing. Does anyone know anything about this show, like whether it was recorded or not?

Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 19, 2003 Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam...Flag match A flag match? Uh, what were the flags? After Van Dam did a few Raw shows they started calling him "Mr Monday Night"...he did a couple WWF vs ECW flag matches. He was a pretty good heel durring that time.
