Sci-Fi Channel reairing Incredible Hulk TV Series!

Recommended Posts

Thanks to the release of the Hulk movie this summer, we've seen an influx of interest in the character. Now Sci-Fi channel makes my day as according to the Yahoo! TV Schedule, episodes of the old 70's show starring Billy Bixby and Lou Ferrigno will again air on the network. Episodes will air daily at 6pm EST.

The last time I remember the show being replayed was in the mid 90's or so, when Sci Fi had it on at like 4 o'clock. At any rate, as a Hulk fan I'm glad to see the show back on in reruns. That makes two shows that I've found are back on TV this week. First Hang Time, now Hulk. My VCR is working overtime these days, lol.

It vanishes from the SciFi schedule after 2 weeks or so so it looks like they're just showing a few episodes, not the whole series.

If you go by the yahoo schedule, they usually only show up to two weeks anyway. This is either a movie tie in, or just filling a hole until they can start up another series in that slot. They're showing the old Star Trek at six now. I was hoping for awhile now that Hulk would pop up in their mid-day block of random shows. Kolchak the Night Stalker rules.

I loved the old Hulk show, it's a lot like Highway to Heaven strangely enough.

I saw it on the Scifi site not Yahoo. It started on July 21st and then wasn't on on the 31st anymore. But that was last month when I saw that. Now they have August up and it DOES keep going on. For some reason it looks like they do a movie marathon on the last Friday of every month. So I guess they are showing the whole show. Now I gotta record the shit too. Dammit.

I wish they'd put it on their daily marathon thing too. I like it a lot better to just record a weeks worth of episodes one day instead of having to record it every single day. Now if they'd just bring back friggin Wonder Woman. I started recording that back before they cancelled Superhero Land and now I have no way to complete it since they won't show it anymore.

I wish they'd show the old Spiderman live action show sometime as well. They used to own it, I doubt if anybody has outbid them for it. haha I'm not sure if I have all the episodes of that series or not. Well, I guess I could look that up. Ok, damn, I do have all the episodes of that. But I'd still like to see them play it! haha

They also used to show the old Captain America movies with Reb Brown.

I'd love it if they showed the campy 70's Spidey show. There was a preview for it on one of my old Hulk cartoon videos and I realized how much I miss watching that show as well.

On a related note, they should also bring back My Secret Identity.

I loved the cheesey superheroes seventies shows. I remember that TBS used to show a string of the movies made out of the live action Spiderman episodes about once or twice a year. TBS was the shit up until the early ninties.

I have the old Spider-Man movies and episodes (with Nicholas Hammond in the title role) on tape. You're not missing much if you haven't seen them in a while.

I'm psyched about [iThe Hulk[/i] coming back on, though. It was definitely one of my favorite series when I was growing up, and I've managed to catch its syndicated runs since then. Certain aspects of the show haven't aged well, and fans of the movie may not be impressed, but I thought the show was dashed good.
