Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2002 There's a bunch of guys who aren't being used properly as far as heel and face goes. Triple H needs to be heel. I think everyone agrees on the fact that no one is buying him as a face. Jericho needs to either be the sarcastic comic heel or sarcastic comic face, either way he needs to be funny and sarcastic-he is so great on the mic and they don't take advantage of it at all. Edge needs to be heel and he needs to be with Christian. They wanted to push him as a singles competitor, but I think they should wait a few more years on that and they should've kept E&C together, at least for the time being. Of course, now that they split them up, it'd be hard to bring them back together. Undertaker needs to be face, he gets bigger pops as a heel than most guys do as a face. He has the badass character, so it's not like the fans are going to dislike him because he's mean. Test needs to leave the WWF... oh wait, that doesn't really count, we're just doing heel/face status here... Of course, there's the then endless list of guys who are being misused, but that list would go on for days. So, can anyone think of any others or disagree with the ones I have here? Kevin Nash should have a bit more comidic role to his charactor, his stuff in WCW was gold. Booker T needs to be a face. DDP needs to be back to his WCW role. Sounds good to me. I'd also like to see the return on Benoit as a killer heel who puts anyone that looks at him cross eyed in the cross face. I have to disagree with Edge and Christian becoming a team again. I'd much rather they have a chance to get over as singles competitors first. I have a feeling that Edge is one defining moment away from the upper card. Besides, they were heels for what, a year and a half? If they get back together, I'd rather it be as comedic faces. Hell, I wish the WWF would just put all of the comedically inclined workers together and split the shows between cruiserweight matches and skits. But that's just me. Benoit back as a monster Heel with a manager. reform E&C I just don't see it happening for Edge his character seems limited to me and his matches have been pretty uninspiring. E&C had great matches. HHH heel but not just yet. Taker If you got rid of the bike entrance and had him show some weakness I think he'd be a great Heel. When the music hits and he comes out on the bike the place goes nuts. But I can't remember a time when a large portion of the audience didn't cheer him. Even Tuesday in Texas you can see there's people cheering Taker in the audience. turn the Hardy's and put them in the flock. Raven needs the Flock and to stop dressing like Adam Ant. Rock needs a turn I really don't think people are so stupid that they won't see his movie if he's a heel. People won't see the movie because it's meant to be shit. Booker seems to work better as a face. DDP should never have excepted the buy out from Time Warner. Dudley's a few months away from each other and then faces. I think tha Austin/Angle program bombed because of Austin not being anti-America, the fans had no reason to cheer Kurt's patriotism because of this. Plus after 9/11 it seemed as though the WWF was exploiting the attack with Kurt as Mr. USA. Even though the angle started well before 9/11. Should Angle be in Kane's place? Do you want to see Angle take on the nWo by himself? Do you want to watch Kurt Angle have to lay down to X-pac after a run-in behind the ref's back? God, I hope not. I think Angle is right where he should be. He shouldn't have even been in the main event. He's just like Goldberg & The Giant. Thrust into the spotlight too early. They should pull the plug on Edge's singles push for a while and re-team them. But give them some singles matches. The 5-second poses and there goofy catchphrases were funny and the fans poped for them, they should bring them back. Plus Christian carried the team IMO and Edge needs him more than Christian needs Edge. Christian cut and devilered his promos better and did most of the work in the ring. Should he be such a "big star" that he never loses unless it is to an established main eventer. Would that even makes sense, considering in your eyes, Kurt Angle currently isn't an established main eventer. Should Razor Ramon not have lost to the 1-2-3 Kid back on RAW years ago?
