Guest justcoz Report post Posted July 19, 2003 Oh God, I just realised something... What if Mcmahon somehow works Droz into this whole thing? Lord help us. Now c'mon. Wouldn't that be great during his heel turn? Zach encounters Droz backstage. Droz from his wheelchair applauds Zach's courage and Zach lays a verbal lashing on Droz - completely disrespecting him by stating that Droz should've had the courage and discipline to overcome the odds like Tenacious Z but instead chooses to be a sympathy chasing handicap who wheels himself around the locker room like he's still one of the boys. The APA over hear this and approach Tenaciouz Z who says, "What are you tough guys going to do, drink some beer and beat up a one legged man - how tough is that." Spanky interjects setting a match up between the two. Those are the types of storylines Zach should be involved in. That area of the card. I agree that I think Vince at this moment is just trying to get Zach the exposure to make people take notice and had to go overboard when direction had to be altered because Hogan took his ball and went home. Then of course, it would also be cool if Eddie Guerrerro taught him the basic principals of Lying, Cheating and Stealing - that would get Zach over as a face however. His future is as a heel. There are more faces in the cruiserweight division he could work with. I think from his facial expressions and mic skills up to this point - he could effectively play the part. I like him and I also agree that we need to see him in the ring with guys like Shannon Moore, Nunzio, Jamie Knoble, Rey Rey, Ultimo, Spanky, etc. rather than judging him from Big Show and Vince matches. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2003 We all know Godfather was the original big ol' fun-lovin' guy. When did he get fired, if he did? Never saw it mentioned here or there or anywhere. It was back in early/mid 2002. He was near the beginning of WWE's releasing spree after they let go of Saturn with Raven, Justin Credible, etc. to follow. He busted his ass for them since 92 (when he was Papa Shango as far as I can remember) and they just fire his ass after 10 years of service just like that. Sure, he wasn't a great wrestler, but I enjoyed his gimmick especially the Godfather.
