Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted July 18, 2003 I'm planning on getting an external hard drive for my notebook, since I could use a lot more space than my 20 gig internal. I have a firewire card and am basically looking for a good, 7200 rpm drive that's not too big and that holds about 80 gigs. The firewire card is Iogear, so I've been looking at their drives, as well as Smartdrive and Western Digital. Iogear's the favorite right now as far as price and compatability goes.
