Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2003 Goldberg Vs. HHH for the World Heavyweight Title and Brock Lesnar Vs. Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship are scheduled to happen. Whoever wins COULD happen either way with all the political chaos that's presently going on at the moment. However, Goldberg winning is pretty much a given and there's a huge chance of Angle getting the title back. We got Unforgiven (RAW PPV), No Mercy (SD PPV), Survivor Series (JOINT PPV) and Armageddon (RAW PPV) left after SS. Any guesses on what's going to happen? And with who might be next for the world title shots given the SS winners? Goldberg has a lot of opponents left to decimate and Lesnar/Angle could have some new interesting feuds granted they degrade TBS's position and move up worthy contenders such as Guerrero and Benoit. World title matches I'd love to see happen myself (just for the hell of them happening): would be: Goldberg Vs. They both like each other and have great chemistry on-camera, and it would be a very interesting feud (a la Bret/Austin). This is also assuming Cena goes over Undertaker once or twice in their feud (coughyearightcough). For Brock Lesnar, I'd like to see him turn heel after SS, claiming he's become to soft, and he brings Heyman back to regain his edge. A feud against a face Benoit would be sweet. Brock could try and intimidate Benoit at every stretch, but Benoit gets back at him with the Crossface, the only thing Brock hasn't faced. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Chris Benoit or Eddie Guerrero I guess for SD we'll see more Brock/Big Show/Angle circle-jerking provided that the WWE still refuse to push Benoit as a world title threat. As for Raw, it really depends all on HHH and his wedding. If he takes a hiatus for it, expect GB to keep the belt in order to set up HHH winning it back after the wedding or at Royal Rumble. If HHH refuses to take a hiatus, expect Golberg to job the belt to HHH ASAP, though I wouldn't put it past the WWE to wait to Survivor Series in order to pull yet another SS Screwjob just to fuck GB over on his way out... If GB crashes and burns, expect GB to job the belt to Jericho in order to give HHH someone to job to him that will get him hard when he does it... Of course everything stated above could be thrown out the window if HHH decides to go to SD and reunite with Steph when they get married in order to avoid the Curse of Kevin Sullivan. Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted July 19, 2003 I see Brock retaining, and he will probably face TBS for a while until the next Smackdown PPV where I'm sure Benoit will get the nod and get a match with him. I don't see Benoit winning, but that should be the feud for the rest of the fall with Angle mixing in there once or twice with both guys and possibly a Lesnar/Benoit/Angle 3 way at SS that we thought we'd get last year. I mean yeah, RVD would likely win and end up jobbing to HHH but still jobbing there wouldn't hurt too awful much if he beats GB. On SMDN I'd like to see Eddie get a serious push at the world title, though he's not a real good opponent for Lesnar. Maybe if Angle has the belt. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
