Wow Pirates of the Carribean really gave BBII some competition. I thought BBII would have made in the 60 mil range if POTC wasn't out, IMO.

No, I wasn't a big fan of the first one.

 

I'll see it when it comes out on video, but I still haven't seen Pirates yet and I'd rather see that than Boys.

Nice holdover for POTC. 25% dropoff ain't bad at all, particularly this summer.

And you know why? That film is a CROWD-PLEASER. When the credits came up the audience applauded. I haven't heard applause for a film in a long time.

 

 

In fact I'm gonna go see it again later tonight.

bad boys 2 was pretty good until the ending. the ending was so stupid that it dragged the rest of it down too.

Bad Boys was a long movie, it dragged somewhat but I thought it was ok, some of stuff was over the top (like the rat scene and the corpse scene) and yea the ending sucked and was so corny/sappy.
