Spider Man 2 Poster released!

Recommended Posts

Guest SP-1

Yeah I saw this earlier this morning. My fears about Ock's design have been put to rest, at least for the moment. Hopefully the comments from those involved that the story is alot better will be true, too. If Spidey 2 is better than Spidey 1, it will be quite a movie indeed.

Its a cool poster, but for people who know nothing about the comics, myself, how would they know this is a poster for Spiderman 2?

That is one sweet poster, my appetitite for Spidey 2 has been wetted. All if got to do is wait a whole other year for it to come out.

The font'd do it, and if not, they'd start asking "What's that for?" And when someone tells them "Spiderman 2," all the more exciting. Fine marketing. I also imagine that posters like this will be up next to or across from ones of Spidey, too.

Alfred Molina, best known for being the "Throw you the whip, if you throw me the idol" guy from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

i think he's now better known as the coked-up guy in his underwear who tries to kill mark wahlberg and john c. reilly with a shotgun in 'boogie nights'.

He's a damn good actor regardless, continuing Raimi's fine tradition of insisting on hiring proper actors as characters, not just "in" actors.

Molina was last seen in Identity, as the shrink

If people are still quoting Boogie Nights in 20 years maybe, but on AICN there's STILL mention of his 30 seconds in Indy. Right now, he's best known for a 30 second cameo in Raiders.

Or they could of just put the words 'Spiderman' somewhere in the poster, many people won't know what it is for. Granted, there will be more posters and a BIG marketing campaign for the movie, I'll let this go.

Understated is better for propaganda. Just ask the Nazis.

It's one of those giant banner posters you see hanging from the walls of theaters. I'm betting there's one of Spidey and one of Mary Jane to go with it. They had similar types of posters for X-2 before it came out too.

Alfred Molina got great notices for Freda last year and he's pretty much a critics darling.

Too fucking right

The reason thisll be better than Spidey One, which i HATED (Flame away) is that the first time i saw Green Goblin, i didnt know who i was looking at.

They better bring J.K. Simmons back as J.Jonah Jameson, only part of the movie i liked

The first hour and the last 15 minutes of Spidey is gold. The rest is mediocre.

This one will be badass.

I think the Lizard stuff was kind of rumor. Connors may be around, but I don't think he's supposed to make a heel turn in this one.

Nah. He's probably better known for playing "Angel" in Maverick

He's always "the guy that got Natasha Henstridge's character preggers" in Species to me...

Molina is better known for his role in Chocolat.

Didn't see that one? Uhm... forget it, then.
