Would an amateur wrestling game work?

As an amateur wrestler myself, I would personaly like to see an amateur wrestling game. I have no idea as to how it would work. I mean you could wrestle through all the weight classes for each meet. TO make the wrestlers on your team better you can come up with new training regimines to work on techinique, conditioning, and move sessions. You can recruit wrestlers and that college sports stuff.

It could work, the game play career mode could have the player start in AAU or college play thru a tourny like the NCAA then progress to national team in internation play to win World Championship then go to Goodwill Games and then the ultimate goal of being Olympic gold metal winner.

The game play must be something like the Tony Hawk engine where you could chain your moves to big points and you special moves could be a pin. Somehow combine the UFC, Pride FC, THPS engines into something which the player can enjoy forever.

Have Kurt Angle Mock you just for kicks...

They oughta have "LEGENDS" hidden...

Who you place on the cover? Myriad of Amateur Legends like Angle...Sanderson...Gotch...and whoever else? or Just a Mat with Two Hands shaking...

Or John Smith (only American wrestler to win 6 World Titles, and has 2 gold medals. Kurt Angle considers him to be the best ever)
