A bit hypocritical

Recommended Posts

Guest TheGame2705
Now the real question is will his wife divorce him after this is all said and done?  He already admitted to cheating on her, will she be smart and get rid of him or will she be stupid and take him back?  Once a cheater, always a cheater.

Now I must say that this in particular I thought was funny.

Well I have already stated in the LSD folder in some thread that I was cheated on (and lied to many times) and to get back at him I cheated on him as well. But I got rid of him and found someone who knows how to treat me right. Like you said Zsasz, people can change and after my relationship ended I changed a lot about myself and decided that my next relationship would be a serious one and I wouldn't play games.

But I have also seen people close to me catch their boyfriends in bed with other women and continue to take them back each time they cheat.

I'm not judging you TSA, I don't have the right to. I was just asking.

I never thought you were judging. I did want to give some sort of explaination for my statement.

I cheated on him only after I found out he was married and he deserved it.

Two wrongs dont' make a right though. I think that's what they're getting at.

However, you did admit that people can change. So it seems a little contradictory to continue using "Once a cheater, always a cheater," once that admission is made. Not that you specifically have. But you're kinda defending it still.

I don't care one way or the other, just trying to offer an outside analysis.

For the most part it works.

And you are right two wrongs don't make a right, but at the time I was very pissed off (it being my birthday and all) so sure, I did something I wasn't proud of. But looking back he deserved it for everything he put me through. Now I have moved on and found a man that fits me better.

Aye. No judgement from me there. Just pointing out their possible thought process.

I've never understood why someone could take offense or be bothered by something someone did and so to ammend it, they went and did it themselves. Their excuse most of the time is, "I did it because they did it." As if that really excuses you. Obviously you'll be hurting if someone cheats on you, but turning around and doing the exact same thing because of that doesn't make things better, it just makes you a hypocrite.

I'll be the first to admit it was stupid, however only certain people know what the situation was and so when I cheated I felt as if I did nothing wrong. I wouldn't think of cheating again, but a lot of reasons went into why I cheated.

My insta-opinion:

TSA sounds a bit hypocritical, especially since she did "cheat" herself, but I have probably contradicted myself numerous times at this place in some way or fashion, so I really don't care.

I don't think her lesser half needs to contact a P.I. or anything.

Yet...

Tony knows I would never cheat on him. Why would I want to ruin a perfectly good, strong relationship?

Not my thing, besides when I get horny I just masturbate and all is better.

When someone cheats on you, why do some people feel inclined to just go find someone and cheat right back, on the original cheating party?

Not only is it pointless, other than playing an immature childish game, it is a total disregard for the feelings and emotions of the one that you are cheating with, to get back at the guy who originally cheated on yourself.

My question is this:

Why do women always get so terribly upset because their boyfriend cheats on them? I'm just missing something, I guess. I fail to see why it's THE WORST THING EVER~

I can't really speak from experience, but it's probably because it's a violation of trust. And maybe the girl really loves the guy. I dunno, I've never had a boyfriend or anything, but I can guess.

A girl who I was with for almost three years ended up cheating on me. It was going on for a while, and the reason I didn't really know about it is that it only happened on Pro. Wrestling nights while I was watching TV (I spent virtually EVERY minute with her while awake other than those few hours a week).

I didn't get all smartassy and try to "get back" at her. I just ended out relationship, and moved on with my life. To me, there is no use wasting your time on someone, no matter what type of time, on someone who would do you like that.

It hurt like a bitch, and I still get down about it deep down when I think about it, but that's life, just got to move on.

Meh, okay. Good enough for me. I really wouldn't care if I caught my boyfriend getting all up ons with some other girl. It's just not the sort of thing that would personally offend me.

If I were you, I wouldn't share that information with any of your boyfriends in the future.

Why not?

If they know you don't care, depending on what type of guy we're talking about, they may look at it as an opening for free play...if you willlllllllllllllll.

Well, she might want a open relationship...

What type of relationship is it ok for either party to fuck other people?

Perhaps I just have more of a definition of the word "relationship".

I just don't care if he's sleeping around, so long as I don't get any freakin' disease. I'm more about the "companion" aspect, I guess.
