HUSH IS ONE OF THESE GUYS!

Recommended Posts

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen

DC Comics.com is doing a contest to guess Hush's identity they offer choices, therefore Hush MUST be one of the following people:

1. Alfred Pennyworth: Doubt it.

2. Barbara Gordon: That would be great if it didn't screw over Birds of Prey. Which I hate, but happens to make money.)

3. Batman: Huh?

4. Bruce Wayne: What?

5. Catwoman: Again, this would screw over Catwoman's ongoing book.

6. Clayface: This would be fine, if a little pedestrian.

7. Harvey Dent: Doubt it. What's the point of him turning face to turn heel right away again?

8. Hugo Strange: The best canidate in my opinion. I hope it turns out to be him.

9. Lex Luthor: Isn't he a bit busy running the free world to destroy Batman?

10. Jason Todd: GOD NO!

11. Jim Gordon: Interesting, but I don't think Gordon is physically capable of doing what Hush has done. Then again, when has logic ever stopped Loeb?

12. Killer Croc: C'mon. Croc's a retard.

13. Martian Manhunter: Get off my porch.

14. Nightwing: Nightwing is too loyal to Bruce, plus it would fuck up his own title.

15. Thomas Wayne: NO! NO! NO! NO!

16. Superman: Supes ain't turning heel.

17. The Joker: Why would Hush frame himself for murder?

18. The Penguin: A logical choice. Could be.

19. The Riddler: Good choice. I hope it's him.

20. The Roman: No thanks.

21. Tommy Elliot: ... I guess it could be.

22. Two-Face: What? I thought Two face was done.

And I'm pretty sure the JSA killed him.

Hush is Aunt Harriet. It's pretty obvious.

I'm feeling it's Tommy for some strange reason. That was my first guess, and I still think so ... maybe he faked his death

Tommy isn't HUSH. I get the feeling he was thrown in as the proverbial red herring. All signs point to it being him so therefore it's not. Besides, how easy to figure out would that be? That'd be the ultimate let down and most anti-climatic revelation this side of the Higher Power.

Personally, before I even saw these choices I always thought Jason Todd. *ducks and dodges thrown tomatoes* I think this is just the sort of stunt that this book at this point would pull and it would garner TONS of publicity. Having it turn out to be an already established villain would be a letdown unless they have a REALLY good explanation and I don't think they do. Jason Todd would fit perfectly with the all-flash, ZERO-substance story Loeb has provided us with thus far.

Or maybe he used that Lazerus Pit that Ra's was talking about? Same could be said of The Roman, or Jason Todd.

Jason Todd....

I'm going to be pissed if it's him, though.

Hugo seems the only truly sensible selection.

Jason Todd seems an obvious choice to me too. For a while I thought it might be Harvey, but now I'm not really leaning that way. Anyway, what leads me to think that it might be Jason is the scene where Ra's reveals the fate of a particular Lazarus Pit to Bats.

The Lazarus pit definitely helps make it either TOmmy, the Roman, or Jason.

I still am feeling Tommy since they did all that flashbacks that built up there relationship.

Or Hugo Strange.

He's dead too.

I'm starting to think, maybe it IS the Roman. After all there is a connection to Harvey Dent, but who would bring his body to the Lazarus pit, and how would he discover Batmans identity?

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

I know he has one son left alive who might be able to get his body to the pit (can't remember the name off hand) and his body was seen incased in ice at the end of Dark Victory, so it would be in a decent state of repair. Possible, but not the most likely.

Mario was the living son's name.

If it's a Falcone, it should be Alberto.

I'd also like to add how thrilled I am that this is getting so many replies. I like to keep the Comics folder busy and this is great.

Hmm, but I don't see Alberto wanting to take down Batman, yes Batman caught him, but he didn't kill him, Alberto was a shell of himself in Dark Victory, i just don't see it as Alberto.

I know it won't be Alberto it can only be someone on this list. DC offered a contest and these were the options. It won't be anyone but the people on this list.

Oh yes, i know, what i meant was, if it could be anyone Alberto dosen't have the best motive. But I could see Falcone blaming Batman for the destruction of his empire and in an indirect way for his death.

IT's Jason Todd, he must get his revenge on Batman for the Joker beating the crap out him and leaving him to be killed in that explosion....

*knocks back flying tomato's with a bat*

BTW, I'm kidding.

I'd like to see Gordon as Hush, the more I think about it. I miss him.
