Bush administration outs CIA agent...

This is rather despicable, if true; the sources should be found and forced to resign. However, I'm not even sure that a mention in Time magazine would mobilize the public to make a sound about this. It's interesting to note, though, that this CIA agent's specialty was Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Somehow, I can't work up the effort to feel bad about this.

 

Before some of you bitch, I'm not saying this is right.

I'm not sure I'm outraged, either, but I think it's a significantly dirty tactic played by someone in the administration. In effect, it ensures that no CIA agent will speak out against the plans; quite frankly, blowing your cover isn't worth it.

 

I'm not saying it was Bush or even Cheney, either; however, until the source is found and reprimanded, they have a responsibility to this issue.

I would genuinely be shocked if Bush or Cheney even knew about this happening. It just seems like something done by someone internally in CIA.

 

This whole story is hinky anyway. If the ambassador's wife was sending him out there on her own, than there's some sort of weird personal agenda going on.
