I'm JB, I run the Fserve on #puroreus (Stuart's chat room) and I have a bunch of random matches on my computer. I decided I'm going to review some of them so people know whats good and whats not. So I'll just post them on here and see what people think. Anywho here we go.

AKIRA vs. Koji Kanemoto NJPW IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship 3/23

This has been called the junior match of the year from some people. AKIRA is of course the on and off again NJ Junior and Koji Kanemoto is the IWGP Junior Champion in this match. The match starts off JIP with Koji kicking AKIRA. 5 of 6 strong kicks. In the corner they trade chops and kicks and Koji nails a kick that knocks AKIRA to the ground and he hits a flipping Senton splash for a 2. AKIRA misses a sidekick but nails a dropkick that send Kanemoto to the outside. AKIRA then hits a suicide plancha. *CLIP* Back in the ring AKIRA hooks on a STF. Koji fights it off and finally makes it to the ropes. AKIRA nails Koji with an elbow but Koji kipups, but AKIRA's not done as he dropkicks the knee. AKIRA walks toward Koji but Kojib grabs the leg and locks on his ankle leglock. Koji stands up with it as AKIRA grabs the ref and tries to use him for leverage towards the ropes. Finally Koji lets go, but AKIRA gets a dropkick in, still selling the leg. AKIRA then KILLS Koji with a release overhead german suplex that only gets a 2 count. AKIRA tries for the dragon suplex but Koji stomps the leg and hooks his ankle lock back on. AKIRA tries to fight it off and then starts BITING Koji's leg. Koji releases the hold and then lays some kicks into AKIRA's leg. Falcon Arrow by Kanemoto as he heads to the top for a moonsault, only to get knee's the midsection. AKIRA then tries his luck up top and nails his top rope splash for a CLOSE nearfall. The fans are on their feet as AKIRA climbs up again and nails a splash on the back of Koji legs. AKIRA then grabs a ankle lock of his own on Koji. Koji grabs to the ropes and starts fighting back with kicks, he knocks AKIRA down then falls down himself out of exhaustion. Koji then grabs this awesome looking leglock and thats the end for AKIRA as he submits.

Winner: Still IWGP Champion Koji Kanemoto

Time: 17:52 (10:11 shown)

Rating: This match was a really really good intense match. On 4th and 5th viewing it's not the MOTYC some clame it to be, at least not in clip form, but still it's definately a match to try to get.

***3/4

Keiji Mutoh vs. Shinya Hashimoto AJPW Triple Crown 2/23

Seeing as AJ just had a disaterous Bodukan show a couple days ago, I'd thougt I'd review the match that actually drew a good Bodukan crowd last. Hashimoto is of course the leader of Zero-1 and this is the begaining stages of a loopsided feud. This is for Mutoh's Triple Crown. Mutoh is wearing a cool looking mask but looks wierd with the grey beard of his. Mutoh is in Muta mode with him blowing the mist up in the air. They scramble around the mat for a bit with Hashimoto controlling it. He hooks the arm but Mutoh takes him down by the leg. Shinya then comes out on top still holding the arm. Mutoh grabs the ropes, then goes outside to try to scare some little kids in the front row. Mutoh stalls for a bit outside as Shinya gets restless inside the ring. Back in the ring Mutoh hits a dropkick but they both end up missing elbow drops. Mutoh then goes back outside and stalls some more. It's been 6 minutes and they've actually had contact for about 90 seconds. Mutoh finally comes back in the ring and Hashimoto lays into him with chops. Mutoh goes back outside but this time Shinya follows him. Mutoh tries embarisingly to do a Shining Wizard off a seconds back onto Shinya but fails miserably. Into the post Shinya goes as Mutoh grabs a chair and Shinya is busted open. Mutoh uses random objects on Shinya on the outside, trying to make him bleed some more. Back in the ring Muta (since he's officially in Muta mode) very slowly lays into Shinya. This match seems to almost be in slow motion. Muta nails his elbow drop then locks on a STF. Hashimoto makes it to the ropes. Muta bites on Hashimoto's head in the corner. Muta tries for a cartwheel elbow but Hashi kicks him in the back. Hashi then hits a few more kicks that rock Muta. Muta then goes outside and grabs a chair and brings it into the ring. Hashimoto blocks it with kicks though. Muta then blows green mist into Hashimoto's face that Hashimoto sells like death. Mutoh hits a decent looking Shining Wizard off a chair for a 2 count. He then nails a worse looking Shining Wizard for another 2 count. Muta then misses a moonsault. more kicks by Hash, and then he hits a DDT. Hash goes for his suplex DDT but Muta counters with a bad looking DDT of his own. Muta goes for another moonsault and this time it hits for a 2 count. Shinya gets up and nails some chops and a leg trip and then drops his monster weight on Muta's leg. He then locks on a head and arm scissor on Muta, but Muta makes it to the ropes. Muta tries to mist Hash again but Hash blocks it, Muta then goes for a shining wizard but misses, and Hash nails his own Shining Wizard that looked better then some of Muta's. Hashimoto then kicks Muta in the chest and nails his Straight Drop DDT for the win and the triple crown.

Winner: New Triple Crown Champion Shinya Hashimoto

Time: 20:09

Rating: This match was slow, dull, bad, and sloppy. The first 15 or so minutes were so slow. The match picked up a bit later towards the end but still this match wasn't a very good.

Jushin Thunder Lyger vs. Takashi Suigura NJPW BOSJ 5/30

This is from the Best of Super Junior group matches and one of the more interesting matchups. Suigura is a junior for NOAH who invaded the New Japan tourney. Here he faces the leader of the juniors in a group stage match. They tie-up then trade some words. They trade elbows with Suigura winning and then Suigura hits a shoulderblock. Lyger then grabs the arm and tries to lock on a armbar. Suigura escapes and then locks on a leglock. Suigura elbows Lyger but Lyger chops back locks on a sleeper hold. Lyger works on a Suigura for a bit then locks on another sleeper hold. In the corner Lyger nails a shotei that knocks Suigura to the ground. Lyger goes for another shotei but Suigura hits a spear.Suigura then hits a fliping suplex on Lyger for a 2. Lyger then hits his a rolling kick that knocks Suigra off his feet. Lyger hits a fishermans buster for a 2. Lyger heads to the top and nails a splash for another 2 count. Suigura fights back with an armbar, but Lyger makes the ropes. Lyger hits a shotei and a powerbomb on Suigura for a nearfall. Lyger hits a brainbuster for yet another nearfall! Lyger goes for another brainbuster but Suigura counters into his oylmpic suplex for a 2 count! Lyger rolls Suigura up for a 2 then hits a shotei. Lyger places Suigura on the top and hits a superplex for a 2. Both back up and and Suigura hits another spear on Lyger. German suplex by Suigura gets another 2. Oylmpic Suplex times 2 scores the the pinfall for Suigura, him beating the the junior captain of NJ!

Winner: Takashi Suigura

Time: 12:12

Rating: This was a decent if kinda unspectacular match. Suigura isn't the best junior to represent NOAH seeing as how he's more of a heavyweight, but still there was nothing wrong with this match, just nothing really great about it either.

**3/4

Thats all right now, I'll try to get some more done in a bit. I'd like feedback and thoughts if possible.

Thanks

JB
