I saw this match from a televised show at London Arena, UK earlier tonight, and it's really good stuff for the time. I'm not sure if it had a release in North America, but tape traders should be able to get hold of a copy for you.

 

If anyone else has seen it, I'd be interested in your thoughts. If not, I highly recommend you check it out.

I seen a match they had from Paris in '89 on the World Tour. That was decent. Around ***1/2, I think.

Their match from MSG in 7/88 on Best of WWF Volume 17 is nothing to sneeze at either.

WOW, now that I think of it I actually do remember this match and the fact that it was very good. I rented a World Tour tape years ago and it was on there.

Didn't those two teams go at it in an ironman tag-team match? I've heard about it many times and some have wondered if it's on tape, although it may be like the Steamboat/Savage cage match of 1987 and might not even exist on tape.

Yeah, that's the one I've got. It's on World Tour 89/90 from Paris.

They actually had a few 60-minute marathon matches in 89, usually followed by a "blink and you'll miss the match" Warrior / Andre bout.
