the wire vs. the sopranos

since the voters at the emmys are dumbasses. i decided to do a post on which show is better.

 

 

 

my pick: the wire

[Guest Dangerous A]

I've watched every episode of both shows.

 

 

My pick is The Wire. Smartest show on TV right now. Just an excellent show. Great characters and I love the slow build for the show. The season is one case as opposed to the other cop dramas where one case is one show. More and more things come out about the case being worked. The show rewards you for watching as well. Some conflicts are resolved and rewarded in the same show, others are rewarded later on in the season. There is never anything that isn't pertinent to the case or the characters quests. It's just too bad the academy as well as regular tv viewers aren't getting enough of The Wire in their lives.

It is a shame Oz was never nominated for anything during their run. I personally, thought Oz was the better series over Sopranos as well.

Oz is my all time favorite HBO show. I'm rewatching the series now, I'm on season 3.

 

I've never seen the Wire, not a single ep has made its way on Kazaa. But I love the Sopranos
