I could name some third party games but you might already have the if you have a PS2 or Gamecube. Some that havent been mentioned yet are Shenmue 2 if you dont have an import for Dreamcast, Deathrow, Buffy, UFC Tapout 2. If you plan on going online I'd also go with Mech Assault, Ghost Recon, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Unreal Championship.

Tony Hawk 4 is the best game of the series, bar none. No questions asked. Jet Set Radio Future is a very unique game. I loved it. Max Payne is good, and for 20 bucks its a steal.
Guest justsoyouknow Posted July 22, 2003 Report Posted July 22, 2003 Red Faction II Burnout 2: Point of Impact Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Those three games are consistently getting play in my XBox, they're simply awesome. Ghost Recon is a great, challenging game, with lots of military strategy thrown into it. Red Faction II is like an amped-up version of Goldeneye. Burnout 2 is an insanely fun racing game, containing a mode that requires you to see how much damage you can cause by wrecking your car and your surroundings. Hitman 2 is a great game as well, if a bit cartoony.

Guest converge241 Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 im getting an xbox finally too so this thread is useful my clincher for getting a box was the fact that my brother in law souped up his and wil do the same fro mine so you can: 1) burn up to 15 xbox games onto the extra hardrive 2) load 5 eumlators (SNES,NES, NES, arcade, and atari) 3) little things like no adapter to play dvds and you can save any game (xbox or otherwise) at any point and resume right where you left off only disadvatage is you cant do xbox live with the setup but oh well i got PS2 for that

Goldeneye on N64 was better, and if you have a PC, pretty much any first person shooter is better. Which, of course, includes CounterStrike. That's pretty much the story of the X-Box. If you have a PC, the PC version is better. Morrowwind, Ghost Recon, Unreal Championship, Hitman 2, & Max Payne for example. I've heard nothing but good things from Knights of the Old Republic however. Apparently that's a must have. Halo, however, rent it first. That's all I'm saying. Tony Hawk 4 is the best game of the series, bar none. No questions asked And I just straight disagree. TH3 & TH4 were inferior to Tony Hawk 2 in my opinion.
