The Hitcher II: I've Been Waiting For You...

Recommended Posts

Guest Downhome

I rented it and watched it last night.

It's one of the worst films I've ever seen in my life.

I can't hardly think of a single positive thing to say about it. After it was over, it was one of those times that you just sit back and say "Holy Lord, I can't believe I just spent money to watch what was just presented before me."

The bad thing about it, is that I got it for free (using my year long Blockbuster pass), and I still said the same thing.

If only I was a deformity so I could give it THREE thumbs down.

I'll post more in-depth comments soon, but for now, I'll leave you with this...

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

The Jim Halsey character dies in the first 40 minutes leaving his g/f or wife or whatever alone to deal with the dasterdly Jake Busey. To make matter worse, the reason he's doing this shit is never explained. Early in the film, Jim tells Maggie (his g/f or wife) that he is SURE that this is the same guy from the first movie, only he looks nothing the same. At the end, Maggie has Jack tied up something like the guy did to the girl in the first movie, and he tells her that he isn't the same guy.

Before he can explain what he's doing this for, and he was about to, she just kills him.

...this film has no story, no plot, and not much of anything other than a headache inducing presence. It's one of the most anti-climatic, anti-worth-a-shit films, of all time. By this film even being produced, it hurts the original.

Ugh.

Sincerely,

...Downhome...

I already thought the first one was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. One of those movies where the lead character is written as a total moron and does the total opposite of what he SHOULD do at every single turn. That drove me crazy when I watched it. It just seemed like the entire thing could've been ended in like the first 5 minutes of the movie if the lead had any sense.

No Rutger Hauer? Bah on that movie. Although if Kari Wuhrer gets naked though, that would be a bonus.

Yeah, I watched this last weekend.

I think the killer guy's reasons for doing it were because they kicked him out of their car or some shit.

That's the best I can come up with. It sucked.

I laughed because you used spoilers, traditionally used for people who give a shit and want to watch the movie.

We have about 4 VHS and 2 DVD's on the new release section at my store of this movie. From what I can read that's 6 copies too many.

Thankfully, my old Blockbuster store that I used to work at kindly only got one of DVD and VHS.

...bad movie is all I've heard about it.

But, still, almost everybody is ignoring the fact that Kari Wuhrer. That alone means it is NOT the most terrible movie ever.
