Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted July 24, 2003 I really think, unlike Raven, that RVD would be wise not to go to NWA:TNA. Sure Raven is making more money then he was in the WWE, but Raven had little to no merchandise, and was wrestling on HeAt. RVD on the other hand has shirts, pendants, foam fingers, action figures, etc. If he went to NWA, he'd be out of all that royalty money. Plus he's been on the PPV in a good slot (not where he needs to be based on reaction, but still he's higher up then Raven has been). He'd be really smart just to stay right where he is. Guest CheesalaIsGood Report post Posted July 24, 2003 Good point. Raven never got even half the attention in the WWE that RVD has and continues to get. Which is of course too bad.
Guest Quik Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Personally, I just find it hilarious that in a situation where most people would get a bump or a bruise on their skin (or maybe a deeper bruise), Hunter gets a solid ball of cuagulated blood. And gee, what causes that?

Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted July 25, 2003 His match against HHH had practically no heat at all. Compared to the level of heat he had in the fall of both 01 and 02, he is not as over as he used to be and thus they missed out on when they should have pulled the trigger. When they came back from commercial the crowd came alive. When RVD reversed the pedigree for the second time, the crowd got really into the match because at that point they actually believe RVD could win. I have said before, that RVD's loss in that match did a lot more for him than about ten of his wins over Jeff Hardy ever did because of how he was booked to be strong, however once again WWE writers proved to be inept, because the following week, that match and RVD's "NEAR WIN" got mentioned maybe once throughout the whole show, and then was swiftly swept over the rug.
