Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Rey Mysterio & Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy & Shannon Moore YEAH! Billy Gunn vs. Jamie Noble BOO! Rhyno vs. Eddie Guerrero YEAH! A.P.A. vs. Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli BOO! Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, & Zach Gowan vs. The Big Show & The World's Greatest Tag Team Mixed bag here... Okay, so looks like the good to crap ratio is slightly leaning more towards "good"--not counting non-wrestling segments.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Question: if Angle can beat TBS and TWGTT by himself, with a little help from Zack Gowen, shouldn't Kurt, Zack, and Brock be able to easily beat the trio?
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Rey Mysterio & Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy & Shannon Moore...looks good enough. Although Matt's soon to be a jobber Billy Gunn vs. Jamie Noble...fuck Billy Gunn with a cement mixer! Rhyno vs. Eddie Guerrero...ehhh A.P.A. vs. Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli...don't care. FBI have been good and shouldn't have to job to these two. Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, & Zach Gowan vs. The Big Show & The World's Greatest Tag Team ...being that Angle won the 3 on 1 match this should be a cakewalk in theory. I hate how they try and find different ways to use the same match 3 weeks straight
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted July 23, 2003 In theory, yes. BUT CAN KURT ANGLE AND BROCK LESNAR CO-EXIST~!? That's the question you need to ask yourself.
Guest TheCrowCall Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Rey Mysterio/Kidman vs. Matt Hardy/Shannon Moore and Rhyno vs. Eddie Guerrero should rock as long as they are given a good amount of time, but I have two questions that just came to my mind after reading over the card for the show: Why exactly does Chris Benoit not have a singles match, being that he's in the US Title Final on Sunday, much less any match at all on SmackDown? Also, why is Ultimo Dragon not in a match on SmackDown for the second time in the five weeks he has been with the company? ~ Pac
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted July 23, 2003 But aren't the best buds? And Zack can act as a peacemaker of sorts...
Garth 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Rey Mysterio & Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy & Shannon Moore should be really good if given 15-20 minuites to play with. Same thing with Eddie vs Rhyno, but knowing WWE booking i'm expecting those two to go about 3 minuites each, and APA vs F.B.I the only match on Smackdown i'm not even *slightly* intrested in to get that time. Billy Gunn vs Jamie Noble I won't mind seeing suprisingly, I dig Noble and think he can pull a decent match out of Gunn, at least theres a bit of build to this match. Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 23, 2003 I was thinking Undertaker should take little Zack under his wing, start calling him "little buddy" and have a sidecart on his bike for him
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted July 23, 2003 I was thinking Undertaker should take little Zack under his wing, start calling him "little buddy" and have a sidecart on his bike for him Uh-oh. Then Zach would get, what I have dubbed, the Undertaker-respect push. Where he wrestles someone, beats them clean, then shakes their hand in respect to give them the rub. See Jeff Hardy, JOhn Cena, Rey Mysterio...

I hope that doesn't spoil too much. The Ultimo thing I can't answer. He had a dark match, but that's it.

Maybe. Just because you beat somebody once doesn't mean you will always beat them. What if Show and WGTT were having an off-day last week?

Maybe. Just because you beat somebody once doesn't mean you will always beat them. What if Show and WGTT were having an off-day last week? Which was a suprisingly good match. Anyone else think they should just be Benjamin & Haas? The whole WGTT thing is a little much for a couple of guys who've been on tv so little time.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted July 23, 2003 Anyone else think they should just be Benjamin & Haas? The whole WGTT thing is a little much for a couple of guys who've been on tv so little time. I think that's the point. They've only been in WWE for 6 months, but are still arrogant enough to call themselves the best in the world. It's perfect for the cocky heels they are. Oh gnos! Logic by a WWE fan?! You can't do that! That's why Vince hates us! C'mon.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 24, 2003 I just think it's a dumb name to begin with. Doesn't really roll off the tongue Blame Fox for forcing them to go with this. Blame WWE for not being creative enough to think of something better...
Guest Goodear Report post Posted July 24, 2003 Question: if Angle can beat TBS and TWGTT by himself, with a little help from Zack Gowen, shouldn't Kurt, Zack, and Brock be able to easily beat the trio? No, because now Barnum and Bailey can beat Zack instead of Angle and Brock. It's a rather simple form of subtraction by addition. It's like putting the Brooklyn Brawler on your team.
