Kinda but I heard somewhere that The Networks were going to downplay it as to show that American has gotten past it.

Wow..another post-Seinfeld cast member casulty.

And thank god that I can watch Smackdown but I don't have to worry about watching The Mullets...

The only thing I can think of is that Eddy needs to grow his back out quick and do a cross over before the show gets canceled.

I'm sure this will help the Mullets become a big hit.

It did wonders for Shasta McNasty.

I'm just not understanding why UPN would cut down the time on their highest rated show for a shot in the dark. Do they think that people will just flip over to see what the main event of Smackdown is, realize it's not on, and stick around to watch that ignorant sitcom?

They could've just put that shit on before Smackdown.

Because their highest rated show being interrupted by a new show would catch viewers off guard and the in theory they might like The Mullets and thus follow it to it's Tuesday night timeslot.

No, that's not logical. What is logical is that people will turn over to see that wrestling isn't on and then change the channel wondering "why isn't wrestling on." They won't be like "Well, wrestling isn't on, but I'm too tired to change the channel know. Let's just watch these rednecks with bad haircuts..."

There is no way that people will turn over to watch wrestling, see wrestling isn't on, become too tired or whatever to not channel surf, watch the mullets, think it's good, then go out of their way to watch it on Tuesdays. It's just a stupid fucking idea.

*Sighs* I'm talking about the people who are already watching SmackDown. You know, the people who tune in prior to 9:30. As to whether or not it is logical... In theory it is, but rarely do things work out the way they should on paper.

Just fucking sad.

As if wrestling fans aren't insecure enough, UPN has to program a show based around a huge wrestling stereotype that is just shameful in every sense of the word.

This show couldn't shake a stick to Married with Children.

The Mullets will be lucky to last more than 5 episodes before it's yanked.

So you're saying that the wrestling fans are going to watch the mullets instead of having a main event time slot? That's even worse! You think that wrestling fans are gonna watch and be like "Well, this isn't so bad, now I have something to watch on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays!"

No.

No.

FOR THE THIRD TIME.... I DID NOT SAY THAT! IN THEORY THAT IS THE REASON FOR AIRING THE MULLETS FOLLOWING SMACKDOWN!!!

Even if I had UPN, I wouldn't watch it on Tuesday Nights at 9:30..thats 24's time slot.

Its gonna get killed in that timeslot anyway.

Tuesday night is probably right behind Thursday night in the quality of shows that are on network tv.
