Guest shlidgn90 Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 yesterday, a simple rainstorm seriously damaged the city of memphis. over 70% of the city lost power and two put us into a state of emergency. numerous deaths were reported too.
Guest Eagan469 Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 (edited) Jerry Lawler was kind enough to take in a stranded group of cheerleaders. Edited July 23, 2003 by Eagan469
Guest T®ITEC Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 That still sounds better than this drought/heat wave/normal weather for HELL.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 Choken put the ball on the tee and you managed to whiff. kudos eagan

Guest Ripper Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 <-Waits for the Jerry Lawler Joke. The last time the city was in a state of emergency Jerry Lawler was out of work and pre-school had just let out.
Guest Choken One Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 Don't worry eagan...You'll get them next time.
Guest shlidgn90 Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 well put it this way, in memphis during the summer, the average temp is around 95 degreees and not much cooler at night. throw in no air conditioning, due to no power. and then you have hell.
Guest Choken One Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 Please...I've been to Memphis with no power...It's not a damn big of difference here in Cincy. Go to New Orleans and there you got the WORST RANCID VILE Heat Wave around these parts.
