Don't care about Cena other than his promos, don't care about Taker--it's just a match I'll be skipping when I get the DVD.

 

By all means, keep feuding Cena with Taker--it keeps Taker from damaging guys I care about.

 

I fail to see why anyone cares so much about Cena. He's carryable, but put him in the ring with some one not Jericho or Angle, and he sucks. He's nowhere near ready for a big push yet.

You know the Undertaker has a bad record of not putting over the younger talents like other senior wrestlers in WWE. That's another problem in WWE: Egoism. Another reason why WCW went down the gutter.

Cena's been in the WWE just over a year. He's got plenty of time to move up in the company. Undertaker's still extremely over with the casual fans and they're gonna need him to main event a PPV some time this year. It's not like Taker no-sold his offense or made him look bad. He just happened to pick up the victory.

 

Besides, why should Taker lose to give Cena back half the heat that Stephanie stole from him last Thursday?

If, and that is a big IF, the plan is to continue the feud and put Cena over in the end then this is fine.

 

But it also pisses me off more that Taker won, because there was no excuse for that squash first 5 minutes bullshit, if he was going to win the match anyway.

Agreed on Lesnar, but the Taker feud really had little to do with Angle getting over. He was already semi-over due to KotR and previous, and would go on to be much more over later, when big names (Rocky mostly) actually PUT HIM OVER.

At first, I was pissed about the report that Undertaker had the finish of the Unforgiven main event changed from a loss on his part on a pinfall to the no contest BS. However, he made up for it for jobbing to Lesnar the next month so it was okay to me then.
