Guest Steve J. Rogers Report post Posted July 27, 2003 Happened to drive up to Montreal for a visit to what appeared to be mid-town for a few hours on Thursday and caught what looked liked the first day of Montreal's music fest "Le Franco Folies de Montreal" Anyway it seemed intresting though the crowd reminded the people I was with of the grunge culture of Seattle and Vancouver which is odd for an "East Coast" city (I have never been to those cities so I only know NY, Boston, Philly, Baltimore, ect) Anyway, anyone know a history of the festival? Any big names play in the past? Also and this is off topic, but where is The Molson Centre? And the old fourm? In case I ever get up there again those are two places I'd love to see, really to be in the precessence of buildings where history was made Steve

As for the old Forum, it's on the corner of St. Catherine and Atwater.
