Guest HHH's 'Roid Needle Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Vince says: "I've got to tell you - I wouldn't care if you believed in Jesus Christ and we brought him back as a guest appearance, we would be criticized for doing that by that audience," McMahon says. I say: He's right. WE DON'T WANT JESUS CHRIST, VINCE! Much less as only a part timer. Aren't there enough of those on the roster already? Damn Vince, what's the point of bringing back Jesus is he's not gonna work house shows? We don't want Christ. We want WRESTLING!
Guest welshjerichomark Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 When you're paying fuck-knows how much for a WWE pay per view you got a right to be critical.
Lil' Bitch Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Of course, Vince wouldn't get barked at by us if he wasn't being a stubborn jackass and would just quit fucking up shit!
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Vince is right. I'd be mad if they brought Jesus in. I hate to see HHH hold down new talent.
Guest wrestlingbs Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I'd like to see Jesus, but only if he tags with Moses against HHH and Randy Orton. Creationism vs. Evolution. Now that's a match!
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I don't think "we" (the internet) are his biggest critics.
Guest Lil Naitch Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 (edited) What he fails to realise is that his audinece ARE his critics. Edited July 28, 2003 by Lil Naitch
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 What he fails to realise is that hsi audinece ARE his critics. Not all of them. Mushnick and that parent's group were/are his biggest critics, but I wouldn't consider them part of the audience.
Guest razazteca Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 John Turturro is going to be a guest star on Raw?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Get your show and your ratings back in line...then come bitch to us.
Guest DerangedHermit Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Vince is right. I'd be mad if they brought Jesus in. Vince HAS brought Jesus in. Raw - July 27, 1998 Brakus def. Jesus (God damn Boricuas...)
Toshiaki Koala Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Vince says: "I've got to tell you - I wouldn't care if you believed in Jesus Christ and we brought him back as a guest appearance, we would be criticized for doing that by that audience," McMahon says. But... Chris Benoit is already here! Now if Vince would just go ahead and push him, we wouldn't be complaining.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 ::Waits for the self-professed board rebels to interject after that last comment, with a look of amusement::
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Now....would the pure elitists of our Ranks Complain of Jesus No sells?
Guest deadbeater Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 He doesn't have Jesus, but he does have 'Jesus freaks' who just happen to be wrestlers and wrestling fans. If he manages to connect the two, he just might have something there. Hey, I am a Jesus Freak too.
Guest Memphis Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Vince is right. I'd be mad if they brought Jesus in. I hate to see HHH hold down new talent. HHH *SO* owns Jesus. We're all apparently God's children, so tell me what the big fucking deal is about Jesus Christ. Thank you, my ignorance is one of my finer attributes. M
Guest Korgath Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Of course, Vince wouldn't get barked at by us if he wasn't being a stubborn jackass and would just quit fucking up shit! You know, Rico, coming from you, that's the most ironic statement I've ever heard this side of the Internet.
iggymcfly Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Could Jesus Angle slam both Brock Lesnar and Big Show to win his fourth WWE title? Then who cares? ANGLE IS GOD
Guest Deviant Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Imagine how much money he would have to waste on Jesus, then to only see him no sell everything and slip off something. Well that's what happened the last few times...
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I mean, I don't wanna see Jesus there either, but you would think Jesus vs. Satan would be a money Wrestlemania match......
Guest MideonMark Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 If they brought Jesus in, they'd only fuck it up by turning him heel 2 weeks later and making him HHH's bitch in Evolution. The ancient past>the past>the present>the future
Guest Choken One Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Don't forget Jesus would have cut his locks... per rule #666 of "HHH and The WWE rules of Conduct Rule Book" Thou shall cut thy hair if God presumes it to take thy lord's heat away.
Guest Loss4Words Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 When you have a group of sound-minded critics bashing the product and you have a group of 14-year olds who don't understand wrestling bashing the product, it tends to put everyone in the same pile of shit. So, really, is Vince *wrong* to say that some of you will not be happy regardless of what they do? Probably not, because some will not. But just like anything else, you take the good with the bad. That seems to be what so many are incapable of understanding about the WWE and that also seems to be what WWE seems so incapable of understanding about the Internet. However, I apologize for actually trying to discuss this. Let's go back to unfunny one-line jokes. That will show the company to take the Internet seriously!
Guest Kamui Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 If they brought Jesus in, hopefully it would only be for a one-night deal, so we can see him squashed by various hosses while screaming "What would Jesus do......TO GET A-TRAIN'S HAIRY ASS OUT OF HIS FACE!!!" -Duo I have a lot of pent-up rage towards Christianity. DIE.
Guest bradolson Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Anyone see the poll at wwe.com where they are asking what was your favorite Vengeance match? Angle/Lesnar/Show, Guerrero/Benoit and the Tag Title match were the top three. Vince/Zach barely got 5%. Now will Vince listen to his "audience" and stay out of the ring and let the real wrestlers perform?
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Those polls are usally fixed. Give it an hour and the Bar Room Brawl will be winning.
Guest The1977Canadiens Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Jesus? Blah! Bring in the Kung Fu Priest from Dead Alive/Braindead! 'I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD!' That = ratings
Guest cynicalprofit Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 I don't think "we" (the internet) are his biggest critics. you are correct because we when we bash him, we dont get national news coverage.
