WWE Sunday Night Heat Tapings: - Rodney Mack defeated Tommy Dreamer. - Maven defeated Aaron Stevens. - Goldust defeated Stevie Richards, with Victoria. - Spike Dudley defeated Lance Storm (Storm tried cutting a promo at the start but got cut off by Spike). Off the Air RAW Happenings: - When Lilian Garcia sang the national anthem, La Resistance interrupted and cut an anti-USA promo. - Jerry "The King" Lawler came out to a big pop but The Coach got booed very loudly. Big "JR" chant broke out. - After RAW went off the air, Kane continued to laugh. Shane jumped off the top of the ramp and landed on Kane. They both brawled to the backstage area. Vince followed as well. - Steve Austin drank some beer in the ring to celebrate with the crowd. - BONUS MATCH: Triple H, with Ric Flair, vs. Bill Goldberg for the World Heavyweight Title. Triple H came out first, Goldberg followed. Hebner held up the belt to signal the title was on the line. Both men locked up a few times. Triple H continued to back up and sell his leg injury. Randy Orton ran out as Triple H distracted the referee and began attacking Goldberg. Referee turned around and saw it, causing the match to be a DQ. Triple H retains the World Heavyweight Title. Crowd wasn't too happy about the finish. - Goldberg and Ric Flair then brawled in the ring afterwards. Flair left the ring fast after taking some offense from Goldberg. All members of Evolution left. Goldberg shook hands with the people in the crowd and picked up a few kids. He signed a few autographs and threw his gloves/elbow pads to the crowd. He left and that was the show. It is like they just flip a coin to see who goes over in a match. There is no reason for Storm to lose at the heat tapings. There was no reason for Rico to job on Raw to Val Venis.
