Guest Deviant Report post Posted July 29, 2003 Hey, I'm a huge ROH mark and am a fan of jst plain old great wrestling. The tape trader I buy from has a buy 5, get one free deal thing, and my next order happens to entitle me to two free tapes. So basically, I'm hoping to use this as an opportunity to try out some new federations, with no great loss if they suck, since the tapes are free... As I said, I've seen all that I can from ROH, so I'm open to anything but. Any good indies, any good Japanese companies, whatever. Maybe some Zero-One... The main problem with those is that I'm trying to decide based on names I've never heard of, or at least haven't seen... So I'm taking any suggestions you guys may have, particularily for some indies or Japanese wrestling. Or even AAA's When Worlds Collide, does it live up to the hype? Or Toryumon, that sounds cool... Seriously, anything. But hopefully around the 3hr per tape mark, because I think the deal is limited to 3hr tapes. If it's over 3, then still mention it and I'll check them out in the future. Thanks. NJPW J CROWN 1996 Features one of the best Junior matches ever between Ohtani and Ultimo. NJPW BEST OF THE SUPER J '95 A great tournie all around and a classic between Eddy/Benoit. NJPW SUPER J CUP 1994 For obvious reasons. ZERO ONE FIRE FESTIVAL 2002 Great show, the Ohtani/Tanaka match is ****+. As far as AJ goes, pick up a comp to get started. A Misawa one can't disappoint. Guest Deviant Report post Posted August 2, 2003 From what I've seen, I haven't really liked Wildside. From all the talent I've seen in TNA, ROH and in the few Wildside matches I've seen, only AJ Styles has really impressed me.
